Students said they saw police enter a classroom at Hoover Middle School in San Jose & bring a student out. Several students told us they weren’t told by the school about this incident but rather from texts from parents & fellow students. More details below from @newsdamian:

Teachers should just be able to enjoy teaching without having to feel intense pressure that completely takes the joy out of it for them. Just all that silly wrap-around pressure that can be put onto a teacher, esp middle leaders, every single day, every single lesson. It’s completely unnecessary.

We've always had SEL in schools. It was called recess, play, & classes like Music, Art, Physical Education.But they have been taken away or reduced to spend more time on testing, & then we wonder why students lack social/ emotional skills & misbehavior that comes with lack of it.
