@Stanunlocked the founder's personal account is part of that as well

The cost of neglecting social is higher than most founders realize.
For B2C:
1. Higher customer acquisition costs. Less organic discovery means greater reliance on paid acquisition.
2. Your competitors become the benchmark. If you’re absent, someone else defines what “good” looks like in your category.
3. Weaker brand affinity. People are more likely to buy from brands they recognize and remember. Familiarity makes buying easier.
4. Harder crisis management. Trust is much harder to build when people are already upset. A social presence helps you build that trust before you need it.
For B2B:
1. Longer sales cycles. Prospects have to learn everything during sales conversations instead of arriving already familiar with your company.
2. Lower discoverability, which means fewer inbound opportunities. Every channel you ignore is one less way for people to find your company.
3. Weaker category authority. The companies people learn from often become the reference point for the category.
The opportunity cost is easy to miss because it doesn’t appear all at once.

@0xaurSkyo the only thing that is worse than cognitive surrender is having to have conversations with bots, because X algo doesn't know the difference between a person and a bot
English

@Kapuster This is truly terrible; it is a bad situation, completely out of control. it’s people checking out and surrendering the work before AI is actually ready to do it properly.
English

@0xaurSkyo Looks like the main effect is cognitive surrender. Turns out, people are willing to give up their jobs when the AI is not even ready to take over.
English

@Kapuster AI is a tool, what matters most is how people use it effectively.

@bentossell she's secretly scared that when the robots win, they will remember who was nice and who wasn't

Okay, now I need "Football is life!"

Ted Lasso just subbed on Justin Bieber during halftime of the World Cup Yes that’s a real sentence

@0xcryptotax Indeed. It's a loop. Garbage in - garbage out. And again. And again.
Gotta be willing to stop it. By being mindful both on the consuming and creating sides of the cycle.
English

@Kapuster But if you're posting it aren't you no better than McDonald's?
English

@Kapuster the scary part is how much of it just blends in now
English

@RoninDaCC @MattMematic I know. LinkedIn is basically an SEO boosting platform. I feel like 70% of postings are ghosts
English

@Kapuster @MattMematic Wish it were. But this is just a ghost listing. There are LOTS of these on LinkedIn.

@Kapuster @nikitabier please save us from the follow back industrial complex
English

Bots asking to follow back are truly disheartening.
@nikitabier halp!
