Uganda Grants Temporary Visa Waiver for AFCON 2027 Visitors The Cabinet of the Government of Uganda has approved a visa waiver for all visitors entering the country in connection with the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027. The waiver will take effect one month before the tournament's kick-off and will remain in place until one month after the final whistle. This time-bound measure aims to make travel easier, attract a larger number of fans and tourists, and strengthen the marketing and promotion of Destination Uganda during the regional spectacle.
