In view of the growing interest from global conglomerates in establishing Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Telangana, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri @revanth_anumula directed officials to formulate a dedicated #GCC policy to encourage companies to expand beyond the Hyderabad Core Urban Regional Economy (CURE) area. ✅He instructed officials to promote new GCCs along the Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Warangal highways and support the decentralisation of investments to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. ✅The Chief Minister, along with Hon’ble Minister Shri @OffDSB, reviewed key initiatives under the IT and Industries departments. Senior officials, including @TelanganaCS Shri K. Ramakrishna Rao and other senior officials, attended the meeting. ✅The CM proposed identifying clusters beyond #CURE to attract GCCs and data centres to underserved regions. He emphasised that engineering works in #BharatFutureCity (BFC) must adhere to net-zero principles while maintaining the highest global standards, with priority given to the development of trunk infrastructure. ✅He said consultations would be initiated with the Government of India to establish one of the five regional medical hubs announced in the Union Budget within the proposed Health City in BFC. “If needed, I will take this up with the Hon’ble Prime Minister,” he stated. ✅Officials were instructed to expedite work on the proposed #AICity in BFC after studying global best practices in AI infrastructure development. The CM also directed that works in BFC be accelerated to facilitate the early foundation stone ceremony for facilities in the industrial corridor. ✅The CM further instructed officials to encourage companies allotted land in BFC to sign MoUs for workforce skilling and certification programmes aligned with industry requirements. ✅On the proposed investment promotion agency ‘Invest #Telangana’, the CM suggested adopting best practices from other states and creating a governance structure capable of delivering end-to-end support to investors. ✅He recommended including senior officials from Energy and Finance departments as ‘Special Invitees’ for smoother clearances and operations. ✅A dedicated society will be formed for #InvestTelangana to function as a dynamic investment promotion agency. The CM also proposed appointing escort officers to assist prospective investors from their arrival in #Hyderabad until the commencement of operations. ✅Additionally, officials were directed to prepare a roadmap for shifting all government offices in the state from private operators to T-Fiber internet connectivity.
