@EMoriartyWX Ethan, a 5 yr old can easily change the direction of a 1000 ton train with a pull of a lever. To steer a hurricane does not take that much energy. Besides, it is patented technology.

The amount of energy in hurricanes is astronomical. When you crunch the numbers, it shows just how asinine it sounds that humans could manipulate them, never mind create them from scratch.

@Brody_wx Not natural or nature. The west continues to fry while the east is most kept cool portion of the planet over the last 15 years straight. This is Climate engineering + a planet in total meltdown Investigate @RealGeoEngWatch

Unbelievable. 9th day in a row with a 90%+ probabilities for above-average temperatures across the Southwest. 80%+ for the 8-14 range. I’ve never seen such a prolonged, exceptional, historic heatwave in the Southwest before.

There is no nice way to put this. So, I will be blunt. If you seriously think that global warming is the reason why it has been cold and snowy this winter, then you’re an idiot. It has been very cold because of the stratospheric polar vortex (SPV) disruption that occurred late last year. PV destabilization results in Arctic warming through “tropospheric folding,” it’s not the other way around contrary to what some flawed peer- err, I mean pal-reviewed (circle-jerked) research says. There is zero observational evidence that cold snaps have increased in either frequency or intensity (in fact, the exact opposite has happened) over the last 50 to 100 years. It also needs to be COLD to snow. While warmer air 𝑐𝑎𝑛 contain more moisture—which would, in theory result in higher snowfall totals—that does not necessarily mean it that will. Evaporation rates off a water surface are not exclusively contingent on the air or water temperature. Wind speed and pre-existing local atmospheric humidity levels are just as, if not more, important. You must also consider that snow falling into colder air has lower liquid water content, so more air pockets form between each snowflake. This results in a fluffier snow that accumulates more than a wet snow. Most climate “scientists” could benefit from taking some meteorology courses.

I have never seen so much crap packed into a single headline. Global warming isn’t a “fuel” or a “cause” of extreme weather. Climate ≠ weather. Very extreme events often evolve into disasters today because there are more things in nature’s destructive path.

Hi there, Candace. Meteorologist here. Not that my credentials are important because this is basic 3rd grade science, but water freezes at 32°F. If it’s 30°F outside, the ice won’t melt. If the coating is thick, even a warmed surface exposed to direct sunlight won’t be enough to get it to drip much.

Back online after internet blackout. I grew up in Connecticut and have truly never seen an ice like this ever. The temperature is 30 degrees but the ice on our trees tops is not melting at all. Never seen anything like this. Anybody else?

CONGRATULATIONS to the chronically-undereducated, who evidently experienced their first snow this weekend. 🤗 Have you been trying to light the snow on fire? Does it seem fluffier than normal? Do you think the government is sending pretend snow to your house?

@dallascampbell @RepGregSteube I'm a farmer, I can tell you the fact that my rain is highly toxic with patented climate engineering elements like aluminum, and the sun is being blotted out by these aircraft trails. I live in a rural setting with no commercial flight routes. This is a problem.

It can mean all sorts of things. Atmospheric particles, sun shades in space etc etc. The thing you so desperately want to be real and a massive global conspiracy involving all the world’s governments and airlines etc isn’t real. There have been studies and Minuscule localised experiments. Despite what you find so compelling on YouTube it’s utter bollocks. Thank you for being polite but stop being lazy. Do some proper grown-up academic research. Facebook groups and Dane Wiggington is the OPPOSITE of credible research.

Was a clear sky this am, now this. Didn’t Florida ban spraying chemicals in our sky’s? We need to ban it nationwide. There is no way that water vapor would stay that long in the sky.

@MatthewCappucci Mr. Cappucci, have you done an ounce of investigation into solar geoengineering, aka the intentional dimming of the sun to "slow down" global warming? Maybe you should start by looking at the data and compiled documentation produced by geoengineeringwatch.org

Unfortunately, I have to diagnose Congressman Greg with chronic stupidity. Praying for his recovery and education. 1.) The plural of “sky” is “skies”. 2.) Water vapor is invisible. Even you, Greg, can’t see it. 3.) Airplanes have produced contrails since their inception.

@PaulFox13 @RepGregSteube Paul, you should take the time to view the Dimming at Geoengineeringwatch.org. Your coverup of what anyone with a pair of functioning eyeballs can see is occuring in our skies is absolutely criminal. You will be held morally and legally accountable.

Friday. No contrails. Deep blue sky because the air at flight level was very dry. Today, contrails. Why? Because upper level moisture is increasing ahead of a cold front that will bring us showers on Sunday. The planes are there every single day. Whether or not they make contrails is 100% dependent on the temperature and humidity at flight level. It isn't complicated, in fact it is taught in middle school science class.

Clouds form when warm, moist air cools and condenses into tiny droplets or ice crystals. That’s literally all a cloud is. A contrail is just a cloud that started behind an airplane instead of from rising air. Jet engines dump hot water vapor into freezing air at 35,000 ft, so it instantly turns into an ice cloud. And whammo, a contrail! We do the EXACT same the exact same thing with our breath on cold days. Our breath looks like smoke on a cold day. Unless you think you are secretly spraying chemicals with your breath every winter, this isn’t a conspiracy. It’s just simple meteorology.

@RepGregSteube Terrifying. That a human grown-up actually believes in ‘chemtrails’. The conspiracy theorist’s conspiracy. Up there with ‘flat earth’. Stupider in some ways. The human brain is capable of some quite remarkable mental gymnastics. Understandable if you’re 5 perhaps.
