@Softykjr UM dominated. Refs not good but bad both ways. Over the course of the season, UW got more than their fair share of calls and breaks. Enjoy that your Huskies made it to this point. It’s all down from hear in B10

I’m not blaming the refs for this one. Shit calls sure. But I’m not living in that world with this game for the rest of my life

@DouglasTS @TonyOnly_ @wilnerhotline Whatever fits your narrative I guess. I’ve followed this pretty closely and there is certainly evidence that the 10 would have preferred to dissolve and maximize revenue distributions. In the end, the P2 got what they were rightfully asking for since August plus a little extra.

@DouglasTS @TonyOnly_ @wilnerhotline The threat of GK calling a board meeting to change bylaws/dissolve the conference was the point of P2 asking the court for a ruling on the bylaws. If the 10 had their way as voting members, the conference would have been dissolved. Otherwise, P2 agree to these terms in August

@KastbergMatthew @TonyOnly_ @wilnerhotline The only person who ever claimed this publicly or in any documents so far produced was the lawyer, for Washington State and Oregon State It made for a nice boogeyman

@TonyOnly_ @wilnerhotline Yeah. If the 10 give back $3m-$5m each that basically covers the pac12 network space leases, severance packages, and other wind down costs, and probably the legal fees. Then everyone walks away with what they wanted in the first place.

Remember when Wilner reported yesterday that there was a settlement in November but the 10 outgoing schools said no? Good times. Just a reminder that the poor leadership still is alive and well for the 10 outbound schools.

@wilnerhotline As a Beav alum and lifelong fan, I think the Beavs have had a good week all things considered. Beav Nation is relentless.

It has been a brutal week for Oregon State fans largely due to forces beyond the school's control. It has been a brutal week for UCLA fans.

@Nick__Wold @SeattleSports @BrockHuard The Cougs have pulled their weight for decades. UW was not obligated to do anything for WSU but their decision to not consider impacts to WSU is shortsighted. UW was in a position to influence what was best for the entire state and keep UW and WSU connected

@SeattleSports @BrockHuard What is wrong is winning 1 Rose Bowl in 100+ years. There is no obligation of the PAC members to accept a poor outcome simply for the benefit of another member. Had the Cougs won more often they would have been picked up.

@TheDigitalDam Jimmy was a phenomenal recruiter. Bad head coach because he didn’t have Jimmy recruiting for him like Ralph Miller had

@Coach_Smith Don’t blame you for leaving if that is what is best for you and your family, but certainly disappointed in how you managed the whole situation. Good luck at MSU

@rovertdob1986 @ChrisWe26845329 @TaliaVono You obviously didn’t play D1 college athletics. Easy for you to say. Quite frankly, I don’t know how the athletes do it. It’s incredibly difficult to be a student athlete. The additional travel will certainly have an impact

@ChrisWe26845329 @TaliaVono 100% Nonsense. These athletes have tutors and preferential scheduling of classes over regular students. They are pampered every step of the way. Kids are soft these days. If they don’t like traveling to play sports, they shouldn’t play sports. That’s part of the deal

@ImmaculateView @slmandel I agree to some extent but I’d also say the success on the field for P12 teams has played a part. Every week has presented matchups vs top 25 teams and then you’ve had the Deion factor plus demise of conference

@slmandel Their tv numbers have been increased due to the drama of the PAC’s demise and national media actually paying attention because of it. Without that demise it’s business as it usually was.

@RoHutson I wouldn’t extend Lanning until the season plays out. He’s yet to win a rivalry game and there’s a chance Beavs and Huskies play in p12 championship game. If so, PK might want Lanning fired. Quite frankly, the jury is still out on Lanning IMO

I agree with the premise. I just wonder if they will pony up that long term again. I think PK will step up and pay whatever is necessary to keep him as well. He wants a natty before he dies and this is the best shot he is going to find. Lots of speculation here but I agree.
BeavaLuva 🦫@LoveMyBeavers

@RoHutson Robb, after a day to think about it, I think the allure is generational wealth. It’s sad for the PNW and Oregon football, and I hope it doesn’t happen. But how hard would it be to turn down $100 million guaranteed 5-7 year contract? His kids and grandkids are set.

@elfatts23 @wilnerhotline If Beavs and UA win out, and Ducks beat ASU, there would be 3 way tie for second assuming UW beats WSU. Beavs win tie breaker because head to head doesn’t factor in 3 way tie unless all teams have played each other. Beavs would win tie breaker based on win vs Huskies

Stick this in the back pocket for Nov. 25: If somehow Arizona and Oregon finish tied at 7-2 (i.e., Ducks lose once/Cats win out), the tiebreaker could go pretty damn far down the wormhole.
