With an extremely heavy heart, I pass along that Donato "Danny V" Ventura passed away last night after a 7 month battle with cancer. He was a great journalist (best in Boston School Sports history), a fantastic guy, the best husband and a great friend to so many of us. So sad🙏

With Ipswich merging with Triton for a co-op football team this fall, that means the traditional Hamilton-Wenham vs. Ipswich Thanksgiving football game won't take place for the first time since 1975.

At 11am this morning, I received the following statement from Ipswich Superintendent Brian Blake, where the validity of the receipt of cigar making materials presented by a lacrosse parent is disputed.
Also gives the school’s timeline on the decision to forfeit.
