Someone asked me a few days ago why I didn’t apply for the current Ticket Office Vacancy at Pen Mill. I would love to but I don’t think GWR would have me. Also the advert said you have to pass a medical so guessing they maybe looking for someone who has more sight than I do.

Would be nice at least if the Station Manager based at Westbury would come and speak to passengers at Pen Mill once in a while but they aren’t gonna do it and obviously as just a Customer I have no power to do anything about it.

I hope that one day someone will take the time to do something like this at Yeovil Pen Mill. But sadly I don’t see it happening.

Assistance was booked for my journey today on the 1st May and GWR didn’t even have the courtesy to contact me and tell me Yeovil Pen Mill wouldn’t be staffed for my arrival on the return leg. Why couldn’t they have the courtesy?

@SomersetCouncil @TravelSomerset Hi I’m visually impaired. Just want to let you know I couldn’t get the pedestrian crossing near Burtons Carpet, Lyde Road, Yeovil to work at 7am this morning (I was trying to cross from the opposite side of the road to Bruton Carpets)
