@Halo_chains My dad died suddenly when I was almost 5. Your child needs and deserves to know you both. What is heavy today won't be forever. Your baby will grow up. You will find your path forward and not all the answers need to be figured out today. Be kind to yourself.

Today my 5 year old ran up to me with literal sparkles in his eyes. He said: “Mom! I FaceTimed daddy! Look, it’s daddy! Say hi!” I froze. My chest got heavy. All I could say was: “Baby, I’m busy making waffles right now.” “But mom… it’s my dad.” “I know, love. You go talk to him.” And I watched his little heart break right in front of me. The sparkle I’d seen earlier… dimmed. We’re legally…..

I started my way to El Paso this afternoon to meet with my constituent Andrea in an ICE detention center tomorrow morning. She has still not received the potentially life-saving care doctors here in Minnesota say she needs.

I am going to take this tub out and put in a handicap accessible shower, this tub isn’t usable for me, I need ideas, someone on X (I can’t remember had this photo of their bathroom on their page. I can’t find a contractor of course, plumbers are few and far between and the VA requires a licensed contractor. Please share your thoughts and suggestions if you have any!

@NortonMpls @Mplspatriot They were demoralized, degraded and demeaned. The defunding came when they left. Now you bitch, piss and moan that the remaining officers and the handful of new hires don't do what you want and are paid overtime eating up the budget. You won now you just don't like the prize.

It’s crazy the Star Tribune is just starting to realize that Mayor Frey has been the one in charge of fixing the problems in Minneapolis for the past 9 years and that when he says “we can’t allow this” his administration has actually been the one allowing it:

@RevTChristopher @TimLawler100383 Well it's a multi million dollar industry for the metro that grows yearly and is mostly supported by tax dollars. Keep Casting broad judgment on people for not giving enough and in ways that you have deem to be Christian enough. It is working great for you and homeless.

@albertus3M @brivael There’s also the fact that certain Pokemon cards are very rare and very valuable. The cards themselves carry no value inherently. I’d take three shiny, rare cards over 50 regular cards. How does that value factor in?

Personne n'a planifié.

@RevTChristopher @TimLawler100383 Perhaps you should investigate how most rural MN non profits truly operate. No paid staff or offices. Bar Bingo/meat raffles/food stands/fish fries fund a lot needs in outstate. Preventing homelessness and hunger is a lot cheaper than funding it.

@Katj57 @TimLawler100383 Then again we would not need nonprofit if the so called Christian would do what God ask us all to do, Jesus never asked the government to help the poor. When Jesus told the rich man to sell all he had and give it to the poor, the rich man had a problem with that and still do.

@RevTChristopher @TimLawler100383 You are right. Every town in the state should start a non profit get 100,000 in homeless grants to help. They can each pay the director 65,000 a year and 25,000 on offices and benefits. The 10,000 left will be used wisely. Great plan!

Well a lot of the red areas who call themselves Christians skip over the part in the Bible where it say take. Care of the poor, They don’t see it as a Christian thing more as enabling those who are down on their knees, so they keep going to the only place that will do a God has commanded us to do. More people in red areas should read Luke 10:25-37

@RevTChristopher @TimLawler100383 Why do people keep coming to MPLS? Because most red areas won't pay or tolerate enabling them perpetually Taking food off our table to feed yours is pretty standard. However we will not sink our ship trying to keep yours afloat when you keep throwing the anchor over.

@Katj57 @TimLawler100383 The more people that comes in outside of Minneapolis the bigger it gets, imagine if small towns helped their homeless that would cut down on what the cities have to take care of and just maybe there wouldn’t be a need for some much money.

@RevTChristopher @TimLawler100383 The more money they feed the beast the bigger it gets. Imagine the amount of jobs lost if homelessness was eliminated. That business model works in big cities..not so much in a small town.

@RevTChristopher @TimLawler100383 There are not resources in most red districts. No public transport, no free meals, no shelters, no clinics, no blanket and tent handouts. Most rural districts entire city budgets are less than what MPLS spends studying homelessness.

@TimLawler100383 We have homeless camps in both cities here in Minnesota, they come in from all over because many of the red districts will not provide for them. So they come to Minneapolis or St Paul.

Okay serious question what can she do to help her condition? My Mom didn't want to be recorded but she agreed to it since she has been in so much pain. She is 70 years old and has been dealing with right upper leg pain more towards her groin which she has severe swelling by her knee and all the way down to her foot and ankle giving her a hard time walking and even worse trying to turn. She has been going through this for over a year. She went to her doctor they said most likely just arthritis. She has used a body massager, ice, stretching, leg elevated in bed sitting on cushions in chairs. She has tried rest pain meds. Inflammation meds for swelling nothing is helping. Also tried a hip leg brace and cane to alleviate pressure on that one side. My mom is a caregiver for my dad and my sister because they're both disabled and my mom dresses wounds and helps with everything so my mom has to do all the cooking laundry cleaning so she can't exactly relax for a while and let this condition get better. I go over there several times a week trying to help out as much as I can. If you have had this issue or known somebody that has can you help us with any information that you can provide thanks.

@SandraBullockF @VicToriA19_72 @LeadingReport What's wild is you don't understand that nothing is free. That while Federal dollars can't be used that states can allocate state dollars to this. Hospitals and schools can't afford to provide free services. MPLS schools and hospitals are literally drowning in debt.

A junior associate informed me she has a "hard stop" at 5 PM on Fridays. She said she needs the weekend to protect her peace and maintain her energy. I told her I completely respect her commitment to boundary setting. I then removed her from the M&A deal she'd spent two months diligence-ing. She came to my office on Monday confused as to why her access was revoked. I explained that a closed deal requires momentum, not a pause button. She asked how she was supposed to hit her billable requirement now. I suggested she use all that extra weekend energy to find a new practice area. Peace is a wonderful concept for people who don't practice corporate law. The rest of us find our tranquility in a signed signature page.
