@CultClassicCage True, I mean it's all about preferences. I game on PS5 and PC both and I get the appeal of just picking up the controller and gaming on the couch. If people feel it's worth the price so be it but it's stupid for console fanboys to say it's a better gaming experience than PC.

I'm currently still running drivers from January on my PC rig. All of my games are running great. I am literally the laziest person and my PC experience is great. Setting up graphics is as easy as toggling low medium high and ultra. People who still complain about this in 2026 really need to stay on console because we simply just don't want bottom of the barrel gamers ruining the platform we appreciate.

@dodgykebaab @DarkBolo That's a separate conversation, u said pc doesn't have a subscription but it does. And the gamepass console library is more or less the same as the PC gamepass library. Now if u don't like gamepass in general that's taste and preference matter

@DarkBolo @Kaydude456 That’s simply untrue. I tried Gamepass for PC and most of the good 3rd party games were not there. Where are the tales games? Nothing from Capcom, Namco, Sega. Almost no JRPG’s, very few racing games. Mainly chaff.

I think the fact PC DOESN’T have a subscription service like PS+ Catalog or Xbox Gamepass is actually a big reason not to get a PC.

As much as I would have liked to have a steam machine with Steam OS on it, I'm glad I just pulled the trigger and got myself my gaming laptop. An all in one, really enjoying the experience

@NextGenPlayer Own a PS5, collects dust. They really need to give me a strong reason to upgrade to PS6 bcoz this gen has been under whelming. Been mostly gaming on Steam Deck & My PC.

@Nick_Marseil Dont u think console gaming market in general is stagnated now? People who buy PS4 will buy PS5, they are not acquiring new users which is why they tried to pivot to pc releases too. Wonder how growth looks like for Sony. Genuinely curious bcoz these corpos always wanna grow.

PC gamers had their chance to show Sony the potential of 3rd party publishing, and they failed. They spent more time bragging on Twitter about how PS has no more exclusives than they did playing them. You were nothing but data for what was always a dumb experiment.

@TRIPSTER0 I own a PS5 and a gaming rig, I feel my console is just eating dust most of the time bcoz I game on my steam deck and pc more. Frankly speaking I got no reason to turn on the PS5 now. PS5 is great for gamers who don't want the complexity of pc gaming though.

Sony doesn't care about the 1% PC Bros. You can cry and moan about it, but the matter of fact is they just don't care, I've seen many PC dudes saying they will stop buying Playstation games, Sony doesn't care about the Lower Denominator, this was a failed Jim Ryan experiment and I knew Sony Japan wasn't on board. In this day and age is better to have multiple platforms, be a real gamer and buy a PS5 to go along with your Beast PC. PC+PS5 best combo in gaming. @xMBGx PC gamers will always remain PC gamers though, console market share has hit the ceiling. They wont acquire new users for their console no matter how good their games. They are welcome to try though, the only reason to own a PS5 would be to play GTA 6 early and that's a exception.

Sony might be going back to "Only on PlayStation" Jason Schreier says his comments on Sony pulling back from PC isn't speculation and that he is working on a report that will reveal more information. NateTheHate also backed this up shortly after staying their strategy is absolutely changing. John Linneman also pointed out Sony removed "beyond the console" from their strategically emphasized indicators recently. This comes not too long after God of War Sons of Sparta, a game many expected to be on PC, only released on PS5.

@JamiesAct It's over for consoles in general, I've moved to PC, and the only reason I own a PS5 is to play GTA 6 early. That's it, all these games will eventually move to PC and can be enjoyed at higher fidelity and no u don't need a 2000 dollar pc to run games better than a console.
