@mwfoutch1 I have the same keyer and i love it. I paid 40 for mine in mint condition. It’s in the safe now but I wore it out when I first got it. Works as a great practice oscillator too. Good find

Does anyone have experience with the Kenwood TM-D710GA- I am trying to control it remotely via DTMF with a TH-F6a but I cannot find the menu # 923 and # 924- I believe this is required to setup the password to control the rig. I don’t know if something else has to be present 1st?

@WD9EWK I am just digging this up now. Don’t have the rig in front of me right now but I do know to check the serial. The manual I have did not mention that where it says on yours . I understand it to be a late - production issue

@KD9RDO A dipole with counterpoise??? Do you mean an end fed half wave dipole with counterpoise? If it was center fed , the counterpoise should be half the antenna...

Radio people I need your help. I’m trying to save two radio station transmitters from going to the dump. Collins 20V2 AM and Gates H3 FM transmitters. Please share this far and wide. Located in Colorado. Were both working until powered off 12-31-24.

@ve3hls Yes. It's crazy but you short the shield out with the center on the ends. It creates built in reactance cancellation. Full details: jrschultz.github.io/VE5REV/posts/D…
