@AntoniaRForster @playViewfinder ahaha, that's great! Considering some of the stuff we do earlier in the game that interpretation does actually kind of make sense to me!
Hoping at least it wasn't easy to get it to crash, that level is probably the worst performing, especially on steam deck

Ok, ready? So in the final puzzle, you are told to escape the simulation by "crashing the system". My dumb ass took that entirely literally, being a game dev, so I started recursively spawning and destroying structures, causing as much load as I could, until the game was severely lagging, audio got weird, the game became unplayabley slow and I thought "it's working"! ...Until my poor Steam Deck died 😮💀
Luckily it switched itself off to prevent overheating (the real failsafe) - but I was so convinced this MUST be the solution, I did the whole thing again! Eventually I caved and Googled the (much simpler) answer 😂
@sadowlstudios - please tell me I'm not the only dumbass that tried this?!?! Also, aside from my own error, this game was flawless. Wonderful mechanics and gameplay and puzzles and soundtrack, A+++ and no notes! #justiceforcait

Constant time lights are really interesting. I really want similar tech for our UGC platform too...
But it's yet another thing that relies on temporal accumulation. More ghosting issues, harder for history rejection to work due to added noise.

I tried Unreal Engine MegaLights with RTX 3060. It Seems to perform really well for 1000+lights (60+ @ 1440p) with overall improvements from lumen & Raytracing. There Seems to be a lot of Ghosting in movement though other than that I'm excited for MegaLight!

@willgoldstone Also, being able to setup/config specific playmode options for testing multiplayer stuff. MPPM is nice but I have to hack together my own "test in singleplayer" "test with two unity instances" "test in multiplayer but i'm gonna wait for a build to join" buttons

@willgoldstone ...it's a bit hacky, hooking playModeStateChanged and then setting isPlaying to false, rather than just customising the button itself. It'd also be nice to be able to customise the play button itself to show there was errors, as if they miss the window it's confusing not playing
