@zachbussey Twitch has always felt strongest when the community lifts each other up. Raids and visibility from larger creators can mean everything to smaller streamers. This new cap feels less like supporting growth and more like limiting one of the best ways communities help each other.

Twitch's viewership cap for streamers persistently viewbotting will be based on their valid traffic and historical patterns.
Viewership over the cap will not be counted, including valid traffic such as Raids, during the period they are subject to the cap.

I appreciate that given recent events, for some this month's update may feel a bit tonally 'off' as it was recorded earlier in May. We debated nuking this, but felt it important to continue providing updates on the state of the game and areas we are working on during this time.

@Lukitch59 @S0nicbob My ADHD brain kept checking out trying to follow... all I know now is I have this strange urge to hunt megs for like 10 hours to see if I get my third SG! I have nearly 12k hours in the game. Met my first SG after 8K hours and the 2nd one after 10K. 😅🤣😂

In light of recent discoveries, I’m genuinely torn on where I stand right now. I’m waiting to see a clear statement or meaningful action that shows changes are actually being made. If nothing happens soon, I’ll be stepping down as Partner. The only reason I haven’t done so immediately is because I know it would place pressure on others in the community and potentially put them in an unfair position. It’s a difficult situation all around. But unless something changes, I can’t continue to be affiliated. This whole thing is sickening. And silence is not going to make it dissapear under the rug. For people wondering whats going on, i'm sure someone in the comments will enlighten you, I don't want to beat a dead horse. This is such a horrible situation.
