Surrey is such a great community for philosophers of law. And this symposium was an honor -- it's so wonderful to have such great people train their attention on the book.

Today we had a great visit at @SurreyCentreLP. Full house to talk about @shershovitz’s Law is a Moral Practice.

@GlexAreen Except I also say that lots of postivists are anarchists too, while some non-positivists aren't. So it's not a reason to be a positivist nor a non-positivist.
English

New reason to be a non-positivist just dropped. Apparently, we are anarchists? I always knew we were the cool ones.

@MathsWNBorders @VictoriaBonnar Doesn't this show the question was poorly worded as there were no snakes to bite wolves at 6pm on day 5, nor were there any sheep to crush snakes on day 5. Hence it can't be true that snakes bit wolves 'EVERY evening', or that sheep crush snakes 'EVERY day'?
English

@VictoriaBonnar 145 wolves, 378 sheep and 232 snakes! 👌
Hope that reduces any confusion and settles any arguments 😂
Happy New Year!!

English

@MathsWNBorders Any chance someone could DM me with the answer & explanation to this problem from #mathsweekscotland2018 It’s causing major debate within my family & I don’t think any of us will get any sleep until we know!!

@CoxLaw Is it wrong to tout one's own? You did say any and all:

New book chapter by the Centre's own Alex Sarch, on corporations and legal punishment. Volume edited by Larry Alexander and Kim Ferzan
Alex Sarch@should_b_workin
True, our institutions are crumbling, trust seems lower than ever and the world is falling down around us, but it's neat that book chapters now are online just like journal articles. Here's my chapter about punishing corporations: link.springer.com/chapter/10.100…
