Ok let’s settle a few things right now: 1. On Tuesday July 9, 2024 the State Elections Board came to order with a quorum to do business and proceeded to work through its published agenda, with the Chairman allowing unlimited public comment, seemingly as a way to delay getting to the action items that were properly before the Board. As the 5:00 hour approached, it was agreed the meeting would continue the following day. 2. On Wednesday July 10, 2024 the State Elections Board came to order with a quorum to do business and the Chairman “cancelled the meeting until further notice” — this was not done by a motion approved by the Board but was unilateral, illegal action by the Chairman. 3. On Friday July 12, 2024 a majority of the State Elections Board reconvened to complete the meeting illegally cancelled by the Chairman. Despite being under no legal duty to do so, out of an abundance of caution and a sense of fairness, these members posted a meeting notice more than 24 hours in advance of reconvening and notified all parties with pending business before the Board. They proceeded to complete the remaining business and adjourned. 4. The notice for this meeting was not required to be posted on the SEB website but the reason it was not posted was the refusal of SEB staff to act as directed by the majority of the Board. 5. Cathy Woolard is a political hack who has no business being anywhere near elections administration. She has lobbied for far left causes and worked for far left candidates for decades. No complaint from her should be taken seriously. 6. Democrats are upset because after YEARS of being able to direct the course of the State Elections Board we have an election integrity minded majority that wants to address the very real election confidence concerns of many Georgians. 7. Which brings us to the two rules that received such violent opposition. One of the rules merely requires that counties publish basic voter data on a daily basis during the early voting period. The other rule insures poll watchers will be allowed to be present anywhere ballots are processed. 8. This begs the question why are all the stops being pulled out to stop more eyes on the process and transparency with regard to data that is supposed to be publicly available now? 9. The majority of all religion-based hate crimes are anti-Jewish. But when asked about such antisemitism, the White House bizarre response was: “We have not seen any credible threats" but "Muslims have endured a disproportionate number of hate-fueled attacks.” This is another example of why I left the Dem Party. It is led by and full of protectors and apologists for Islamism. Anyone who is against Islamist jihadists is labeled a "bigoted Islamophobe.”
