You can also defend his law breaking contributions during the match all you want, he should have had at least three yellows.

We have a particularly strong centre forward who United wanted less than 18 months ago, Brobbey is the least dirty players at safc, big difference between being strong and dirty.

@SkySportsNews Good pressure from Brobbey that, was hardly going to stand off and wait for keeper to claim. That action happens all over the pitch in every game, shielding out for a throw in/corner. When that happens there is always some contact involved. Hardly a heavy shove. Unfortunate.

Can you imagine the wider reaction if Romero did this? Brobbey may have just ended Romero’s season and World Cup. Kinsky sliced his head open. While on a yellow for purposefully elbowing Pedro Porro in the face. No words anymore.

@TomFahyNo1 @FplVelvet It’s been made out on a lot of Spurs posts I’ve seen as the worst challenge they’ve ever seen. Biggest overreaction I’ve seen in a long while. It was the correct result today, the ref even tried to give you a helping hand with the pen.

@FplVelvet Stop masking what a poor side spurs are, we were well on top before that and he hardly made any contact with Romero. Worst side at SOL this season.

@InvertTheWing Games gone if you think that’s a dirty performance. Watching a strong striker bullying centre halves is a great watch. Porro hands all over Brobbey for so called elbow ( shrugged off ) and next to no contact for the apparent push. Disappointed it was only 1-0

Brian Brobbey with the dirtiest performance I've seen in a long, long time. Should have had about 5 yellows. Ended a players' World Cup. Disgusting from Rob Jones and Don Goodman for enabling that kind of behaviour. Unsportsmanlike. Disgusting.
