$TAO holders, how much did the TAO foundation pay for marketing - surely Raoul Pal, Virtual Bacon, etc. didn’t make content for free? I haven’t found an answer - for a peer comp, Polkadot paid $37M a yr for it. Better yet, what are the overall operating expenses for the TAO foundation? How much are they paying for their staff, management, travel & entertainment, etc. It’s all reasonable right? It’s not being plundered to enrich themselves or anything like that right?

Bittensor Subnet just dropped "our white paper written alongside Intel" Sounds big. I checked. Turns out they called a DevRel blog post a partnership. Two Intel Trust Authority employees co-authored a post on community(.)intel(.)com. Standard DevRel - the same blog section has identical posts with Thales, Zscaler, Leidos, Cohesity, etc. Same co-author (Sathi Nair) published the same format with Corvex a month earlier. Same other co-author (Haidong Xia) co-wrote a white paper with Google. This is a DevRel pipeline, not a partnership. - Intel Newsroom: 0 mentions of Manifold or Targon - The blog post: 0 kudos, 0 comments - Manifold's $10.5M Series A: doesn't mention Intel once The paper itself is technically solid - 16 pages, attestation workflows, threat models, real TDX architecture. Credit where it's due. But "written alongside Intel" sitting next to Thales, and Zscaler in the same blog section is like saying "my app is featured by Apple" because it's in the App Store.

human detection is cooked. Radiological Society of North America just released a report where 25% of AI generated x-ray images fooled radiologists who have spent decades learning how to analyze this type of data tons of news right now about medical / welfare fraud happening in the US. the government must start using tools to fight this fraud. autism in Minnesota rose 3000% in 10 years. the same fake phenomenon could could happen for broken bones withe the help of generative ai specialized models could 100% help with this. for many of @bitmind's customers we train hyper-specific detection models on certain types of data that show much higher accuracy than generalized solutions (e.g. only for document forgery)

deepfakes are definitely a big problem, but shouldn't come at the expense of the 1st amendment and 4th amendment. privacy must be preserved while combating misinformation and deepfake content

the problem with ai-generated content on social is that is amplifies the echo-chambers and confirmation bias we all have. as ai slop continues to increase on socials i believe the social platforms that offer to filter it out will offer the best user experience.
