If you are a cancer patient out there reading this and you’re about to get chemo, maybe for the first time:
A radiologist sees you as a 2D model on his computer just like the other 36 patients of his regular working day, because he has his assistant preparing you before and wishing you a good day after the scan. The last time he had direct patient contact was when someone asked him, where the exit was. Zero chance that he could tell you anything about the clinical course of a cancer disease.
Sorry to all non-interventional radiologists out there, but you know it’s true.
Oh, and the 8% survival rate is of course as arbitrarily made up as the rest of the post.

So here are the receipts from his first 12 months: 1 - Killed the consumer carbon tax. Gone on day one. 2 - Scrapped the EV mandate. Replaced it with a $5,000 rebate and choice. 3 - Reversed the capital gains tax hike. 4 - Passed the One Canadian Economy Act (C-5) to tear down interprovincial trade barriers. 5 - Cut 40,000 federal jobs with a plan to actually shrink government. 6 - Slashed immigration targets to match housing and infrastructure capacity. 7 - Hit NATO’s 2% target with $82B in new defence spending. 8 - Launched Build Canada Homes + a Major Projects Office fast-tracking 20+ projects. 9 - 26 international trips, China canola tariffs reduced, $97B in foreign investment secured. Gay surrogacy and gay adoption are predicated on the idea that gay men (or women) have a “right” to become parents. This idea is not only morally insane but also logically incoherent. It’s exactly like jumping off a building and claiming that you have the right to fly. Nobody has the right to defy the laws of nature. Where would such a right even originate? Two men cannot be parents. It’s impossible. Doesn’t matter how they feel or what they want. It cannot be. The only “right” at issue here is the right of the child. And the child has a right to be raised by a mother and a father, not two men masquerading as mother and father.

What an incredibly daft thing to say by someone whose main credential is climbing the political ladder.
Even in the UK, where Mark Carney was far more contested, the criticism was about politics, not competence. Jacob Rees-Mogg accused him of "Project Fear," and Boris Johnson didn't take too kindly at his Brexit warnings, but neither argued he was incompetent or "wrong about everything."
And when Carney left, Conservative chancellor Sajid Javid praised his "outstanding leadership." Even his critics treated him as a serious central banker who helped steady markets during Brexit, they just didn’t like what he was saying.

It's 33% for federal and Quebec is 25.75%. You then add nearly 15% sales tax (provincial and federal) + property tax, school tax, carbon tax, etc. You end up between 65-70% of your income taken. You think that it is false outrage to not want the government to take 70% of your income?
