@hirschirsch Looking at all our options on this topic. Is running starlink @160m through an Ethernet cable a viable alternative to the ubiquitous type wifi setups or would we lose too much through the cable. I already have pipe laid in ground from another job. Anybody got experience in this?

@brodenholland Hi,
Looking into putting cameras on a new G6. Would love to chat or DM about it. Could you either text me or follow me back so I can message you on Twitter. Cheers

@Tedthekelpie @tofar1 @Jusakstud @emkay76 @PeterKerin1 This is what we already do but it’s after they are fed!! See above👆🏼
English

@tofar1 @Jusakstud @KerinSimon @emkay76 @PeterKerin1 Just feed them on tracks, roaded catchments, nonarable areas etc.

#asktwitter given price diff of Barley v Oats. What is peoples experience in feeding barley to sheep. Seem to recall we stopped doing it as we were having a lot of volunteer barley in crop from being passed through sheep. Advice/ thoughts? @emkay76 @PeterKerin1
English

@tofar1 @Jusakstud @emkay76 @PeterKerin1 Don’t often trail feed but that’s not the problem. We found that a reasonable amount of barley seed was still viable after going through sheep’s guts and coming out back end, and would then germinate all over paddock

When the new-ish Dutch workman gets bogged on a Friday arvo, going to cut wood, get out the wooden clogs for a shovel! @TomPatto7, @HamishThompson,@thecalmfarm

@Jusakstud @meatlivestock Completely agree, old way easier to look at but I can find same page. Just a bit bulky in that you have to scroll across all indexes. Be good to be able to zoom out to fit more on our small phones for better analysis? Hopefully @meatlivestock taking notice?

English

@KerinSimon @meatlivestock Can you get the new one to display like this on your phone @KerinSimon? The old way seems much easier to me.

Does anyone else find the new sga search terrible on a phone. ? Or is it just me?@meatlivestock

@Jusakstud @meatlivestock You may/ may not have worked out how to customise asbv’s by turning phone on side, then you can save your Asbv preferences. That might help with the last point and also helps when looking at pedigrees. Don’t have any answers for other issues but as I said haven’t spent much time
English

@KerinSimon @meatlivestock Im finding it hard to compare animals. The old list format, was much better for sorting and comparing. Pedigrees are difficult to display . If i want to see a rams wwt, i have to chase it down in the growth screen.

@lukeforestview @scootersfarm @emkay76 @PeterKerin1 Good luck with that. He’s made a mad dash for the border now. Hopefully he gets through before the time, or he’ll have a wonderful fortnight stuck in border village!!!
