@VignuzziLab @idlabs_astar I'm curious if there are differences in IgG subclasses (eg IgG1 vs IgG4) too across ethnicity in Singapore after mRNA vaccines/boosters? Our group has been studying IgG subclasses after repeated mRNA vaccines/boosters in Australia, but our cohorts here are largely Caucasian

New work from @idlabs_astar by Hsiuyi Chen and colleagues. Here, they identify ethnic and genetic factors, such as indels, that correlate with reduced vaccine-induced immune responses and develop a Random Forest predictive model with 70% accuracy.
