@GameNotesBud @BizNasty2point0 Paul's commentary is spot on. Nothing major should change. Sometimes that's the way it goes. Avs do have that 6'7" guy who can and has played. Middleton is just not fast enough. I would love to see him out there as he fits the bill as you can't teach size.

This is not the @Avalanche team we saw play all year. Can they still find themselves in these last two periods? They seem so far off. Guys missing passes. Missing shots. Blowing coverages. Just out it sync. It’s really hard to make any sense of this. So much talent. Such poor results. Not scoring goals against the Kings. Minnesota was tough to watch a lot of times. Game 5 was the high point but also a mess most of the game. We had the best record, but have not played like the best team all playoffs. In 40 minutes we will either see these guys wake up, or the season will end and lead to what ought to be major changes.

Congratulations to this year’s Colorado Sports Hall of Fame inductees! I’m getting ready to head to downtown Denver for the Annual Induction Banquet. My friend and former teammate Steve Foley is one of this year’s honorees. On a franchise known for great safety play, Steve still holds the Denver Broncos' all-time career interception record. He played when they ran the ball more than they passed it and he still holds the interception record. In his first two years there were 14 games a season and he still holds the interception record. Passing game-related record statistics have fallen all around the league, but not Steve’s. Foley was part of the '77 Orange Crush defense that brought the Denver Broncos to our first Super Bowl. Steve and his Orange Crush brothers were instrumental in passing on what it means to be a Denver Bronco to my generation of players. Thanks my friend!
