Google Gag Order: Van Buren Township trustees sicced the cops on a concerned local mom at a public meeting simply for calling out their grift - handing Google massive tax breaks for the Project Cannoli AI data center while families foot the bill for crushing electric grid strain and crashing property values.
She stood up and exercised her First Amendment rights to hold elected officials accountable, yet they dragged her out like a criminal for questioning the sweetheart corporate deal. Public comment periods exist to keep taxpayer funded boards honest, not to let Big Tech cronies ram through backroom incentives while silencing dissent.
As an attorney fighting for constitutional rights in Michigan courts, this blatant gag order on free speech is unacceptable and un-American. Van Buren trustees work for the people, not Silicon Valley. Time to demand real transparency, accountability, and leaders who listen instead of calling the cops on their own constituents. Dem U.S. Senate candidate Mallory McMorrow said in 2020 that while she was in California, "I ended up homeless. I lived in the back of my car for a few weeks". McMorrow has repeatedly told this story, sometimes also claiming the so-called "homeless" period was "a few nights".

As a proud Michigan State University law grad, I’m outraged by the MSU Board of Trustees’ blatant attempt to muzzle statewide elected officials with this illegal “loyalty” gag order. These trustees answer to Michigan voters, not some board majority hell-bent on suppressing dissent.
Forcing them to stay silent on disagreements while threatening censure, lost reimbursements, event access, and even university-funded legal representation is a direct violation of the First Amendment and an abuse of power no court should tolerate.
This rushed Sunday night meeting with minimal notice proves their disdain for transparency and the rule of law. Michigan families deserve real leadership that upholds free speech and accountability, not authoritarian tactics. Let’s make Michigan safe, normal, and responsible again! 🇺🇸

Weekend at Bradley’s, a classic Michigan dead voter scandal from the 2020 election. More fascinating than a weekend at Bernie’s!
William Bradley, born in March 1902, was still registered to vote in zip code 48207 years after he passed. Ballot application received September 11, mailed the 19th, returned October 2, and counted anyway. The guy was more active dead than some folks are alive!
Whitmer and Benson keep swearing everything’s fine while refusing to clean the voter rolls and attacking anyone who notices. This is exactly why trust in our elections is six feet under.
