If we're only worth 1–2% of sales to Sony, then they've made it painfully clear how little they value the people who helped get them here. Sony can keep pretending this controversy doesn't exist. But we won't. Ignoring your community isn't communication. It's disrespect. Until Sony addresses its plans for physical games and explains why consumers are losing yet another choice, this conversation isn't going away. NO DISC. NO BUY.

Watching people parrot “discs always need a day one patch anyway” is embarrassing It’s complete bullshit. Capcom alone proved that wrong in 2026. Two massive releases shipped complete on disc , no download required, and both were sold out physically for months.

I stopped pre-ordering a while back, but RE9 when my friends started hyping it I tried to order the week after launch was sold out everywhere for PS5. I seen the Switch 2 version pop up more often, and it was a key cart. Took me almost a month to find a copy.
