@TRHLofficial Was it Benjamin Franklin who said; "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch; Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote."
English

The National Popular Vote Compact is wildly unconstitutional.
First, it lets a handful of states rig the Electoral College by awarding their votes based on out-of-state popular totals, which goes directly against the Framers' rejection of pure national popular election, and the originalist interpretation of article II.
Second, this '”compact” among states violates the article I’s Compact Clause which requires Congress's consent.
And third, it guts federalism without a proper Article V amendment.
End-run around the Constitution.

@TRHLofficial In a day and age where we have the ability to quickly see the national popular vote, the electoral college is antiquated and, frankly ridiculous.
Also, I seem to remember someone trying to get fake electors to cast votes against who won their state.

@TRHLofficial Out of curiosity, what exactly are you referring as framers outright rejection of pure national popular election? I’m not so deeply familiar with the subject and it’s a genuine curiosity, not a gotcha question.

@BackpirchCrew @ThoughtCrimes80 “…most powerful cyclone of 2026”. A whopping 3 months of history shattered!
English

Super Typhoon Sinlaku is now a 175 MPH (280 kph), 902 MBAR CATEGORY 5 megastorm per the JTWC. She is officially the world’s most powerful cyclone of 2026.
Her scorching eye has carved out one of the sharpest and cleanest Stadium Effects I can ever recall, and her CDO is a superchilled whirlpool of the scariest storm conditions imaginable. We are witnessing meteorological insanity.

@RyanKoenigsberg When Broncos training camp is the sports headline in July, then that simply proves that Denver is a ‘one sport town’.
English

@KalleSorbo Settle down hotshot. Winter skiing, and snow sports, yes among the best. Summer? Not even close, simply not enough water to even qualify. Given the current uber-progressive political trend, makes Denver very un-desirable right now.
English

I seem to have angered all of right-wing Twitter with this, who think we live in a shit hole, but it's quite lovely here, and no one in the replies has offered an alternative that offers all of these things at the levels Denver does. Best city on earth.
Kalle📸@KalleSorbo
Denver is by all accounts the only city on earth with: -Teams in all four major American sports leagues -Thriving music and arts scene -An economy large enough for real enterprise and wealth building opportunity -Access to both Winter and Summer outdoor recreation with ease
English

@KalleSorbo Colorado is ‘10’ for winter sport activity (if somehow you can tolerate the traffic), But summer-no. Hiking, mtn biking, golf, and a short river sport season is all we have. There is simply not enough water in the state to rank higher than a 3 out of 10 for summer recreation.

@RaptorAdapt0r @James_C_Hix @IfindRetards Ford F150 already at 230k miles, so as usual a Toyota fanboy just spewing their “superior” fantasies.
English

@Kevmo11558 @James_C_Hix @IfindRetards lol Fords are straight garbage, look forward to the head developing a crack after 80k miles
English

@IfindRetards Toyota- Tacoma and 4Runner. Owners have a serious superiorly fantasy. And the trucks are hideously ugly to boot!
English

@James_C_Hix @IfindRetards Strongly agree! Toyota - highly overrated! All models, especially their trucks are hideously ugly to boot! No thanks, I’ll keep my far superior F-150.
English

@IfindRetards Toyotas, imagine buying a car that’s worst in class purely because you think ‘it’s going to retain its resale value’ 🤣

@Outcastcycles @ThoughtCrimes80 Bennett wins the Gov and then appoints Polis to fill his senate seat- plausible?
English

@ThoughtCrimes80 Once Bennet wins the primary and Polis backs him there is little to no chance for the GOP to win, Kirtmyer isn't even bothering with the assembly, bottoms needs 1050ish delegate votes if there are 3500 like last election, Marx says he has over 2k delegates....
English

@ThoughtCrimes80 Why on earth would anybody want to be interviewed, or even associate with a person who presents himself in such a foul and tactless manner. This dude loses all credibility from the start because he can’t make a single point in clear discreet english.
English

@zeusblxckthe1st Somethimg is staged here. There are no deep ruts when the Toyota makes the run… Typical Toyota hyperbole.

Saying that your sugar cravings basically disappeared is a huge one!
You absolutely had parasites in their feeding off of the sugar. You may have even had some tumors in there that you had no idea about that were full of parasites, feeding off the sugar. I’m really glad to have seen your story just now! I need to take his regimen as well because we only take a little bit of ivermectin every now and then
Did you take any binder? Maybe I should read a little further

The President’s threat that “a whole civilization will die tonight” cannot be excused away as an attempt to gain leverage in negotiations with Iran.
This type of rhetoric is an affront to the ideals our nation has sought to uphold and promote around the world for nearly 250 years. It undermines our long-standing role as a global beacon of freedom and directly endangers Americans both abroad and at home.
The oppressive, terror-spreading regime of the Islamic Republic must be distinguished from the people and the civilization of Iran. Everyone involved—especially the President and Iran’s leaders—must de-escalate their unprecedented saber-rattling before it is too late.

@KyleClark Please wake up Kyle! Outrageous hyperbole and deception is a tactic to get enemies to the table! Apparently a very effective tactic.

Donald Trump’s so-called “Mad King” tariffs are still hitting Coloradans hard. Coloradans paid more than $1.1 billion in tariffs last year, creating uncertainty for employers, raising prices, and impacting industries across our state — from agriculture to aerospace.

@EileenforCO You’re a democrat, and we all know that means you will only do exactly what Hakeem Jeffries tells you to do.

People all across Colorado and the country are tired of Lauren Boebert's antics. They want real leadership. I will continue to show up for the people of Colorado's 4th district, and finally deliver the representation this district deserves.

@Dudeinthe303 @mc_khristina Your reusable canvas with the label ‘Made in China’? How does that solve environmental issues?
English

@mc_khristina I use a reusable canvas bag to carry groceries - but understand many grocery items like turkey, milk and ketchup are better wrapped in plastic. It's not a difficult concept. Only use plastic when necessary.
English

So let me get this straight, I go to the grocery store and buy … a pound of sliced turkey in a plastic bag, a loaf of bread in a plastic bag, a gallon of milk in a plastic jug, a pack of napkins in plastic wrap, a store-made salad in a plastic tub, a plastic bottle of mustard and ketchup, but they won't give me a plastic bag to carry it home because the plastic bag is bad for the environment? 🙄😂
