This has been bothering me and main cause for not starting investing in US stock yet. I want to know am i understanding correctly or is there any other way?

@BeingPractical @ActusDei @DhanHQ I am worried about if a broker goes broke in india we have our units safe in NSDL and CDSL but there is no such system when we invest in US stocks? How would we be protected in that case? Money will be routed through IFSCA but that does not guarantee the safety of stock units.

The hard truth? And this applies to all brokers: there is no F&O trading in US stocks. Brokerage charges are at rock bottom around 0.2% on avg. Brokers make money on F&O in India. Big time.

When you set up a SIP, you give your bank an instruction to auto-debit a fixed amount each month. There are two ways to automate this:
1⃣eNACH (older bank mandate system)
2⃣UPI AutoPay (has been popular in the last few years)
By the way, there’s a third way: some platforms allow you to start a SIP without autopay by making manual payments for each instalment through net banking or UPI; the SIP order is triggered, and you manually pay within a set time limit.
