@MayorGalvin Keep up the good work! Your offer of a 10% pay raise is more than fair. Keep standing with the hard working people of Woburn, the ones paying the bills, the ones struggling to find child care in this illegal strike.

Mediation and fact finding benefit only th employer. At the end of the process, the employer can reject the fact finder's recommendations that favor the union position and impose anyway. Stop lying about supporting workers.

@VSteed @kelleratlarge I respectfully disagree. The teachers union is very powerful, the MTA has $41 million in their account, and they have incredible political influence. They have mediation and fact finding. They do not need to resort to illegal strikes.

I had overwhelming union support including support of the Laborers , who represent the Haverhill highway workers and the Merrimack Valley Central Labor Council. But in my business have to always do what’s right, knowing in advance not everyone is going to love you.
