That reminds me, I haven't posted about low nickel in a while. That's because my dishydrotic eczema is CURED. I don't think about it anymore. Only 9 weeks on a low nickel diet and looking forward to spending the rest of my life without another outbreak ever again 🤘

I have a few more finishing details to do but my first cotton shirt is done! It was a summer tee pattern from Purl Soho (free pattern) with a gradient cotton cake. I actually really like the waist shaping! The final fit feels pretty perfect and that is really rare for me!

@HeidiBriones Try @MariaEmmerich protein-sparing Reuben chicken recipe. I bake it in the oven to have leftovers. The sauce is delish and the chicken stays moist, I gently reheat.

I wish chicken breast tasted better. I have no idea how you're all cooking it without it getting dry or chewy. Tips? I tend to skip it and cook thighs instead, but I need to up my protein.

@EdaG889915 @botyeagainsteye @KnowBoddee I’m so curious to hear if you try these other “mix-ins” and results. Whenever I’m congested/detoxing from my sinuses a double strength salt flush works wonders. I wonder what might work to disrupt GI biofilms and candida that is safe to ingest?

@botyeagainsteye @KnowBoddee Yes I got lots of suggestions to try hydrogen peroxide, iodine, hypochlorus acid, and chlorine dioxide. All worth looking into!

I can't repost @KnowBoddee but she says that "Clear SINUS cavities are key for energetic/spiritual evolution and ensuring peak energy flow around 3rd Eye," so bleaching your sinuses could make you a lil clairvoyant👁️🔥

@DrSteveGoeddeke Steve-I’m starting to dig into this info. Is there a big difference in effect between consuming the SIBO yogurt and taking those strains in a capsule supplement? Thx for sharing your experiments.

SIBO Yogurt is crazy powerful. Gradually ramped up the last 2 weeks to ~3 tablespoons a day, one of each strain. Must be 100B+ CFU of probiotics. Tanked my post exercise heart rate recovery. Need to keep it very low and slow I think.

Over the years I went from fat to a very high level of fitness. But the path wasn't linear. I missed weeks of training. I had kids and barely trained for months. I ate like crap and regained weight. But I never quit. That's the secret.

If Europe had sunk the first migrant boats in 2015, they’d have been condemned. Called murderers. The smugglers would have used children as human shields. It would have been a catastrophe. For a few weeks. And then Europe be 100 times better off today.

Today I returned to the Downey Animal Shelter and sat down with Sergeant Vega and the facility manager, Joe. After everything, they agreed to release the German Shepherd they had named Sherman into my care. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who spoke up, shared his story, and showed compassion when it mattered most. Because of that support, Sherman is no longer just a number on a kennel door… he’s finally free. From this day forward, Sherman gets the life he’s always deserved.

This dog led a sheriff's deputy to his grandma after she fell during their walk. This is Eeyore. He was on a walk with his 86-year-old grandma when she fell. After they didn't return home for an hour, his grandpa frantically called the police to report them missing. A deputy from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office responded to the call, but barely got out of her vehicle before Eeyore found her. He led the deputy straight to his grandma, who explained that the pup had been looking for help while regularly returning to check on her. She made sure to tell Eeyore what a good boy he is, adding "Grandma loves you." We are awarding him the incredibly rare 15/10

@AndrewDBaird1 Andrew, are eggs the primary source of phosphatidylcholine? Other ways to improve bile composition and flow?

What principles are involved with my group's approach to Vitamin A Toxicity that may differ from low vitamin A approaches ? 1. Nutrients in foods are more important than small amounts of plant toxins unless of course you simply dont tolerate any salicylates, oxalates, lectins, nitrates, glutamates, carotenoids, polyphenols, phytates, glycoalkaloids, cyanogenic glycosides and others. Nutrients like phosphatidylcholine, biotin and selenium are more important than small amounts of retinol say in eggs. The retinol would have to be 10 times higher to raise concern. 2. We're not targeting zero serum retinol. There have been too many instances where people achieved that but still had health problems often in conjunction with low total cholesterol below 170. 3. We're not against small amounts of carotenoids and retinol in food. Indeed, to start off we'd only suggest eliminating high sources like supplements and eating liver. A moderate amount of retinol at or above 200 mcgs and beta carotene at or above about 2,000 mcgs. If you're a poor converter of beta carotene to retinol then slightly more retinol might be appropriate. 4. Improve your health with nutrients and a healthy body detoxes quite normally. Removing all sources of retinol and carotenoids risks losing more important nutrients. 5. The end goal is to eat a variety of foods and enjoy your food. Without many supplements. Small amounts may be needed while you get to that point. 6. We want improved bile flow, quality and safety of the detox primarily through phosphatidylcholine in the bile. Improved colour and frequency of bowel movements. Bowel movements should be once or twice a day, dark brown coloured and pass easily. 7. Foods can be good and bad. There may be benefits to eating foods in season with polyphenols and fibre for gut and kidney health. Not everything is about liver health. 8. Foods with antioxidants may assist in enzyme reactions at different stages in pathways. It's not black and white or solely about aldehyde dehydrogenase activity. 9. Cholesterol enables numerous functions. Going low cholesterol below 170 isn't necessarily a good objective. It might indicate malnutrition. 10. We want to encourage food enjoyment and socialising not food fear and isolation from restricted choices. 11. B vitamins are important co-factors in loads of enzyme reactions. Gut health may be poor and need supported to produce the B vitamins. There may be functional deficiencies such as B6 that may be helped with betaine for example. 12. Ultimately, bile flow is helped by moderate fat and supporting the aim of better bile flow involves moderate fat levels and better fat digestion. 13. Copper is essential for a number of enzyme reactions. It is essential for ceruloplasmin, mitochondrial energy metabolism, iron metabolism, connective tissue metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis and antioxidant defence. We would suggest about 1-2 mgs per day ideally from food. Improving copper metabolism and sorting copper dysregulation may be very important also and improving liver health may be a big factor in this.

Women are nagged to stay fit, eat well, drink less and have babies in their 20s. Women are also blamed if late pregnancies result in miscarriages or unhealthy babies. Meanwhile, some loser has created a micro wheelchair for men's disabled sperm.

Why one cheat meal can set you back so hard The liver has to immediately prioritize new incoming toxins. If you eat processed food, bad fats, chemical additives, or heavy overload foods, the liver stops clearing old stored waste and shifts full attention to dealing with the new emergency. It is like trying to drain a swamp and someone dumping new garbage into it halfway through. Bile flow gets disrupted. High-fat, processed meals cause the gallbladder to spasm or thicken bile again. This can re-stagnate bile that was starting to thin and flow. Once bile thickens back up, it can take several days of clean eating to loosen it again. Lymphatic congestion reactivates. Processed foods and inflammatory meals cause water retention and lymph stasis almost immediately. The body starts re-swelling, trapping old toxins instead of clearing them. Mitochondria get poisoned. Bad fats (canola oil, soybean oil, fried foods) and additives (MSG, preservatives) can directly interfere with mitochondrial function, making you feel exhausted, brain-fogged, and wired or depressed for days. Nerve irritation flares up. Toxin load inflames the brain and peripheral nerves again. The zappy feeling, restlessness, and poor sleep can return quickly after one cheat.
