The late Johana Ngeno’s mother, Sarah, arrived at Dikirr Police Station to seek the release of her grandson, Peter Rotich, who was arrested yesterday evening after Ngeno’s widow reported him for alleged trespass at her Mogondo home. Weeks before the incident, the widow had sent Rotich a text message warning him not to step into her compound after he joined the DCP party. Rotich was arrested for escorting artists who visited Ngeno’s grave last Sunday following a commemoration event in Bomet, as there was no senior family member present to receive them.
