@KillTheCars @PaulSchleifer @Adespoto3 I cycle and I drive, both infrequently, I don't have any axe to grind apart from as a pedestrian. I repeat, the closest I've been to being hit is by cyclists, who ignored lights at junctions or crossings. Ignoring what people say is the ridiculous thing.

Given that about 3 people are killed by cyclists per year in the UK (far too many, of course, but compare with the ~400 killed by other types of vehicles), I suspect Celia's counting skills are poor.

@PaulSchleifer @Adespoto3 I'm aware of that, cyclists are still part of the problem and pointing at other traffic as a deflection isn't a good look. I specifically stated those ignoring lights at junctions and crossings. Who are definitely aggressive and appear to think that the law doesn't apply

New zebra crossing at Blackfriars Station floating bus stop. We have tried to explain to @cityoflondon why these bus stops are not safe or accessible for blind people but more are being planned. @citylordmayor can we urgently meet to discuss our concerns please. This is dangerous

@NickNackKno @NFBUK @cityoflondon So why are there beg buttons at intersections with motor vehicles? Might as well get rid of them since motorists often ignore the zebra crossings and many pedestrians are injured or killed in them.
