@KillpackMichael

James Lindsay would definitely call me woke right, but he blocked me. Does that even count?

Pretty sure lost souls like this don’t pause for such introspections. They get their marching orders and follow them, without question.

This made it so hard for me to feel like there was any hope at forgiveness or being worthy to even be a member of the church. I battled for years believing I was so disgusting and unclean that I couldn’t come back. I understand the weight this sin carries but how do we help those who have sinned and see the word “abominable” and think the worst of themselves?

Sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman is an abominable sin.

A Tucker Carlson / Joe Kent ticket would steam roll anything Democrats or Republicans could bring. It's laughable when people try to argue this with me. Spend some time offline. Good looking, physically fit white men are back "in."

@BradRTorgersen @Cernovich Yes, it was foolish for anyone to fall for his feigned dovishness. I didn’t, because I did not forget how much of an Israel first warmonger he truly was/is. Indeed. He always will be a rules based order liberal, Clinton Democrat at the end of the day.

I have said this to others: what part of Trump offing Qasem Soleimani confused you? Like, seriously. Nothing more loudly broadcast what Trump intended (for Iran) during Term 2. It just got delayed four years because OOPSIE 4 AM vote vans at the (D)-controlled polling places. "B-b-b-but Trump promised us no new wars!" Dear Israel-haters, the Ayatollahs have been at war with the U.S. since 1979.

@BradRTorgersen @Cernovich Bro, wut? Trump beat Kamala Harris in a landslide, because he hinted (quite misleadingly) that he would not be cuckolded by Israel. That in stark contrast to Democrats, who didn’t even pretend, and don’t still, to not be Israel first and foremost, above all else. Seriously?

@Cernovich There aren't enough people who hate Jews in this country to propel that ticket to the win. Though, I am quite certain there are enough people who hate Jews in this country to ensure the (D) candidate is propelled to the win.

@OchoZaco That’s right. Raise your daughters in the liberal corporate western tradition. What could possibly go wrong? Who knows, they may even become a childless CEO of Monsanto. Or Palantir. Slay, queens.

The LDS church didn’t work for us. I’m not raising my badass daughters in a system that is by default led by men. “Can leave but can’t leave it alone” You leave us alone, and then we’ll leave you alone.

@DeadBug15 Honestly, I love my ward. The people are the best. I just can’t stand living in Utah anymore. Too expensive. Too many people. Too hot. Too little water. The hardest part is seeing everyone around me struggle to make it one more day. I cannot wait to get outta here.

I’ve lived in my current ward for 6.5 years and feel like I wouldn’t miss it if I moved away tomorrow. I participate in the activities we have, and I’m active in my calling, but do others (esp men) feel this same way? Almost zero emotional connection to the ward?

I am surprised that people ignore our missionaries. If Elders Cole and Ebubechukwu (from the Nigeria Lagos Mission) came to my door, I would invite them in. If they hailed me in the street, I would stop. Whether I believed it or not, I would listen to anything they might tell me.

Question: ‘“Are you afraid that if you put boots on the ground in Iran, it could be another Vietnam?” Donald Trump: “No. I'm not afraid of anything.” This comes from someone who dodged the draft in Vietnam. He might think differently if his loved ones were in the line of fire.

@grok did President Trump attend military school? Was Trump’s draft lottery number ever selected? Were full-time college students able to defer inclusion in the lottery? As a result, did Trump receive a deferral at Fordham and at the University of Pennsylvania? After college did Trump receive a medical deferment due to bone spurs he developed in military school? Was Trump’s lottery number so high that he would have never been drafted even if he was eligible?

Men in each ward need to step up and be men and lead and do their job of leading. I’m the ward clerk now I commit to volunteering to be Sunday School president in any ward I’m in for the whole time I’m in the ward no need to release me. I’ll do it for the rest of my life if need be.

The church is not the "new Israel." Christians are not the "new Jews." There are Gentile believers in Jesus, and there are Jewish believers in Jesus. This is the church. Israel remains a literal nation of ethnic people who God made an unconditional covenant with, and no man's twisting of scripture will change that. This is the truth.

I find it fascinating how quickly some people exalted Kent on a pedestal immediately after his resignation. And the last 12 hours have utterly humiliated them all. BUT ALSO — Trump OFTEN feuds with someone close to him in a convincing fashion — then that person forms an alliance with all those currently divided out (and MAGA has a small fracture right now) — and down the road, that person reunites with Trump in a grand way and a vast majority of those that he united with end up coming back to Trump. Viz. DeSantis. RFK, Jr. Musk. I called every one of those. I’m calling this now. Come mid-terms, we will be united again. This is the play. See it for what it is.
Sarah Fields@SarahisCensored

Joe Kent was registered as a Democrat until 2021. Kent was affiliated with the Libertarian Party from 2012 to 2019, then switched to the Democratic Party in 2019. He remained a Democrat through 2020 (including voting for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary that year. He switched to the Republican Party in 2021. He began running for Congress in Washington's 3rd District as a Republican starting around that time. Joe Kent is an opportunist. I could possibly appreciate his opinion, and respectfully disagree with it, if he had integrity and the ability to stay consistent. But it appears that Kent is nothing more than a windsock.

What if the Gospels were not the Word of God but the Word of Rome? Why doesn’t Paul mention pilot, Mary, Joseph, Herod, empty tomb, or quote the Gospels at all? Why was it written in Greek instead of Hebrew or Aramaic? Why are the Gospel stories similar to Roman myths and Roman storytelling? Why do the Gospels appear only after the destruction of the Jewish temple and then the content blames the Jews for Jesus’ death whole Rome is innocent (pilot washing his hands of it)?

Something I’ve been reflecting on lately: In LDS church culture, it can be really easy to subconsciously treat callings like a ranking system. Bishop. Relief Society President. Young Women’s President.
Stake president.
High councilor.
Elders quorum president. We sometimes hear those titles and assume they signal something about a person’s righteousness, importance, or spiritual status. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that’s not what callings are meant to be at all. Callings aren’t promotions or a class of spiritual ranking. They’re assignments. Assignments to help meet the needs of a ward or stake at a specific time. Assignments that rotate. Assignments that depend on countless factors we rarely see. In reality, most of the most Christlike people I’ve known will probably never serve as a bishop or stake president. And that doesn’t say a single thing about their worth, their faith, or their standing with God. The teachings of Jesus Christ consistently turned the world’s idea of status upside down. The things He praised most were often the quiet, unseen acts of discipleship - kindness, humility, patience, forgiveness, and service that never show up on a church organizational chart. Your calling doesn’t determine your value.
Your title doesn’t measure your righteousness.
And your importance to God isn’t decided by whether you sit on a stand on Sunday. Every calling matters. Every act of service matters. And every person matters. We’re not competing for spiritual rank. We’re simply trying to serve where we’re asked and love people the way Christ taught us to. And that kind of discipleship doesn’t require a title. #SaintsOnX #FloodXwithTruth
