Everything happening around the world should be a wake up call. No one is coming to rescue us. We have the resources. We have the people. What’s been holding us back is weak systems and corruption that drain what should build us. It’s time to confront that honestly and fix it.

What’s happening with Iran doesn’t look random. The US and Israel appear to be playing a strategic game in Iran by targeting top officials. You weaken leadership, you create instability, and suddenly a nation becomes easier to pressure from the outside.

I turned 100 today 🎂 My family is gone… so I made myself a little cake. It’s quiet… but I’m still here, still breathing, still hoping for a little kindness. ❤️ If you see this, could you say “Happy Birthday” to me?

Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu fell during a state reception ceremony in Ankara, Turkey, on Tuesday, moments after being formally welcomed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The 73-year-old leader was walking past a line of soldiers and dignitaries when he fell to the ground, as shown in official footage shared on the Turkish presidency’s social media platforms. The video briefly shows aides rushing to assist the president before the camera cuts away. Tinubu later reappears standing beside President Erdoğan and appeared uninjured. Presidential aide Sunday Dare said the Nigerian leader was “in great shape” and went on to attend scheduled bilateral meetings. Another presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, explained that Tinubu stepped on a metal object on the ground, which caused the fall. Video clips of the incident quickly circulated on social media, sparking widespread public reaction. Despite the incident, the Nigerian presidency said the state visit continued as planned. President Tinubu’s trip to Turkey was aimed at strengthening diplomatic, trade and defence relations between the two countries. Following talks, Nigeria and Turkey announced new cooperation agreements, including plans to boost bilateral trade to $5 billion, as well as expanded defence collaboration and intelligence sharing. #MMINews

The conflict in these regions can be stopped so children can attend school in a safe and secure environment. But people who are more concerned about making themselves richer than Cruseuse must continue to feed their wicked instincts without any concern for ordinary citizens. When they have bled the cow dry , they will act. God’s time will come .

Teachers working in the suburbs of the North West and South West regions have raised serious concerns about insecurity, poor protection and the blocking of their salaries. According to the teachers, many school principals stay in towns and leave teachers alone to run schools in very dangerous areas. At the beginning of each school term, some teachers delay resuming classes for one or two weeks — not because they are lazy, but because they fear for their lives. Teachers say they are often targeted by armed groups at the start of the school year and usually wait to assess the security situation before returning to class. However, instead of understanding these risks, some principals reportedly threaten teachers with salary stoppage and quickly report them to the ministry. Teachers say that when they temporarily leave school due to fear or insecurity, the first action taken is often to block their salaries. They insist that teachers in the villages of the NW and SW Regions are among the most committed, teaching daily under difficult and risky conditions. Despite the insecurity, they say their academic results remain good. The teachers also complain about poor security around schools. In many cases, only five to six soldiers are deployed, which they say is not enough to protect large school populations or teachers travelling on dangerous roads. They question who protects teachers on their way to school, after school hours, or in unfamiliar villages. Teachers also ask why education officials rarely visit these areas if the situation is truly safe. They further say that when teachers are kidnapped or killed, they are often left to their families, with little or no official support. Some principals are accused of abusing their authority by using connections to cut teachers’ salaries instead of protecting them. The teachers are calling on the Minister of Secondary Education to investigate conditions in conflict areas, stop unfair salary blockings, and organise proper transfers — especially allowing teachers to work closer to their home areas where possible. They say teachers working in conflict zones should not be treated the same way as those in peaceful regions. The teachers are asking how long authorities will continue to treat the situation as normal, despite the ongoing risks. #MMINews

@MbunweP @MimiMefoInfo The hopelessness meted out to the young people in a once vibrant, prosperous and promising country is very frustrating. That’s why over 70% of the population voted for the Change Candidate:Issa Tchiroma Bakari. The current president elect of the New Cameroon.

Biya Reportedly Delays Cabinet Reshuffle to Reinstate Vice President Post President Paul Biya may not appoint a new cabinet as soon as many Cameroonians have been expecting, an article published by The Median Newspaper has alleged, hinting at plans to first amend the Constitution and reintroduce the position of Vice President before any government shakeup. The nation has been awaiting a cabinet reshuffle, which Biya announced on December 31, a few months after he won a disputed eighth term. Citing authoritative sources at the Unity Palace, The Median in its January 21 edition reported that Biya, 92, wants to clearly outline a succession plan by reinstituting a Vice President who could take over in the event of a vacancy at the presidency. Reports about the possibility of the government bringing back the Vice President position resurfaced last year on some Cameroonian press outlets. The position was abolished by former President Ahmadou Ahidjo in 1972 when the country transitioned to a unitary state. Biya’s constitutional successor under the current Constitution is Senate President Marcel Niat Njifenji, 91, who has not been seen in public for months. #MMINews
