I’m proud to serve on the @SPPorg’s RSC as Oklahoma’s voting member. During today’s meeting I was honored to be voted the 2025 secretary/treasurer. I look forward to serving with RSC President Pat O'Connell (New Mexico PRC) and RSC VP Chuck Hutchison (Nebraska PRB).

SPP's Regional State Committee has elected its 2025 officers: Pat O'Connell (New Mexico Public Regulation Commission) as president, Chuck Hutchison (Nebraska Power Review Board) as vice president, and Kim David (Oklahoma Corporation Commission) as secretary/treasurer.

After a long day, the @OGandE rate case hearing finally concluded tonight at 7:00 PM! I appreciate the ALJ, Commissioner Hiett, the parties to the case, witnesses, and the @okcorpcomm staff members for sticking around so that we could finish this hearing today. (1/2)

Following the hearing, Commissioner David stated, "I look forward to reviewing the ALJ's recommendation and determining for myself whether the settlement agreement strikes a balance that is fair, just, and reasonable to both ratepayers and the company." (2/2)

Commissioner David heard testimony today concerning a proposed settlement agreement in @OGandE's pending rate case. After today's hearing, the ALJ will review the evidence and make a recommendation to the Commissioners. (1/2)

One of the most difficult tasks performed by the @okcorpcomm is to set rates for public utilities. Today, I heard public comment and testimony in the rate case filed by @OklahomaNatural.

Oklahoma has the 7th lowest electricity prices in the US! This is more evidence that our "all of the above" energy strategy works. Oklahoma's average price per kilowatt hour is 9.4 cents compared to a national average of 12.72 cents. Source: @USChamber uschamber.com/energy/2023-av…
