@lambrikki6 @NoConceptOfTime Cross subsidy already exists, the most profitable routes in most cases cover large portions of the companies overheads. Without these, many other routes would be unsustainable.

Councils are already in the driving seat to deliver a roads system that allows bus services to flourish but systematically fail. Why should we trust them with a complex matter like bus services if they fail to deliver the basics?
