Support for this petition would be much appreciated. It is not asking to overturn VAT on school fees but simply that schools be treated the same as any other fee charging (not for profit) charity and asking for business rates relief to be reconsidered c.org/HTV2jbQNBM

Last nights KimichiFest was testament to the dedication and commitment of our young people and our staff working together to produce an absolutely spectacular Festival - the best yet. It was a showcase of an incredible array of talent across various genres with truly inspiring performers.

Just us doing our thing…we may not be taking over the world, but in our own quiet way we’re changing lives through music and an alternate ethos. Go us. Our biggest school event of the year….

This is how @Biffa (who we pay to remove our rubbish) leave our bin - nearly causing a car crash on three separate occasions despite our constant begging to please not leave the bin in the drive…plus the rubbish on the ground….disappointing :(

Hard agree. It’s difficult enough for parents to create online-free spaces at home, without schools insisting on reaching into and spoiling those spaces and attempts. School practice should provide support to parents to do so rather than burden them.
Jonathan Haidt@JonHaidt

As parents make progress on the first norm (no smartphone before 14), they increasingly notice that schools are putting screens on their kids' desks and gamifying the school day. ⁦@HadleyFreeman, in @thetimes, lays out why this must change: thetimes.com/comment/column…
