EXC: .@GoodwinMJ’s new book “Suicide of a Nation: Immigration, Islam, Identity” is out now, and I’m only 5 chapters in and have found a huge amount of what appears to be false quotes and basic misinterpretations of data, that appear to be AI hallucinations. Matthew, can you explain the claims you made in the book that I’ve outlined in the below thread?

They seem sometimes to be a little bit establishment, but there were enough independent journalists of the right there to complain. They were a little bit to the left at Times. Now it’s appalling

Nick Ferrari telling outright lies unchallenged on #BBCLauraK. Starmer did not allow the US to use UK bases to *attack* Iran at the start of the war. When Iran then attacked allies across the region, he then allowed the US to use UK bases for defensive operations only @bbclaurak

Ignore political polls. They no longer use proper techniques of quota or random sampling and face to face or phone interviews rather than internet self selection, fail to mention they are at least +/- 3% inaccurate, use leading questions which affect the results.

I took the 94 bus home from dinner with an old school friend tonight. I was harassed by a man, while another sat next to me apparently in hysterics at what was going on. It was fine: I’m far too long in the tooth to care about a couple of dickheads. But had I been younger, I would have been quite scared.
