The bears have always been quick to move on. Have even traded up in the draft for QB’s. Have never built up the trenches or talent around the QB before bringing in a new one.

To me, there'd be nothing more "Chicago Bears" than trading down from #1, building a Super Team, and ending up with a QB that isn't good enough to lead the team anywhere meaningful. Forgive me, but I'd love to see a new approach. It may not end as well as 2006 or 2018 (great teams built around mid/bad QB play), but 'build the team around a known mid QB' has been the Bears' MO throughout my whole life. It's time for something new.
