If you think Israel has attacked countries “unprovoked,” then name one.
Not vague references to “AI” or “narratives” - actual history.
Identify a single instance where Israel attacked a country that hadn’t attacked it, threatened it, or hosted groups actively carrying out attacks against it.
Just one.
If you can’t, then this isn’t about facts. It’s about avoiding them.

Absolutely horrifying. Israel committed a massacre in Tyre, South Lebanon — just one minute before the ceasefire took effect. They dropped bombs on a residential building, killing 13 civilians. People are still buried under the rubble.

Yes - because southern Lebanon is controlled by Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy army firing at Israel.
Under binding international law, UNSC Resolution 1701, Hezbollah was supposed to be disarmed south of the Litani.
Under the Nov 2024 ceasefire agreement, Lebanon was supposed to dismantle it completely.
Neither happened.
Instead, Hezbollah embedded further in civilian areas and has been attacking Israel since March 2 - once again dragging Lebanon into war.
And when people like Piers usually cite Lebanese casualty numbers, they omit a key fact: those figures don’t distinguish civilians from Hezbollah.
Most reporting acknowledges hundreds of Hezbollah operatives killed, with Israeli estimates significantly higher.
So yes - Israel is striking the source of ongoing attacks against its civilians. Basic lesson from history - don’t want Israel to attack you - don’t attack it - or let others attack it from your territory. @dannydanon

Mask off. What really upsets them about the Iron Dome is that it limits the number of Israelis that terrorists can kill. That’s the mentioned “costs”. They prefer that number be higher. With no regards for how the lack of this tech would force Israel to respond. Notice this isn’t even about a funding discussion. Luckily, whether Israel has the technology to save lives isn’t dependent on people like Mehdi Hasan. They invented it. The funding question just relates to our role and extent of access we have to the tech.

Yesterday, white supremacist Jake Lang organized a protest outside Gracie Mansion rooted in bigotry and racism. Such hate has no place in New York City. It is an affront to our city’s values and the unity that defines who we are.
What followed was even more disturbing. Violence at a protest is never acceptable. The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are.
I want to thank the brave men and women of the NYPD who acted quickly to keep New Yorkers safe. Our officers ran toward danger without hesitation, demonstrating once again the courage and dedication it takes to protect this city every single day.
My administration is closely monitoring the situation and I remain in close contact with our Police Commissioner.
