These are some of the people Putin has killed.
He kills everyone who seems dangerous to him. Both the "conditionally loyal" and the openly oppositional. It's his demonstration of strength and power, and the certainty that evidence will never be found.
🔹 Alexey Navalny
Known for criticizing the regime and anti-corruption investigations, particularly about Putin. In 2020, Navalny was poisoned with Novichok poison but survived. In 2022, Navalny was imprisoned on trumped-up charges.
On February 16, the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service reported that Alexey Navalny died in the colony.
🔹 Yevgeny Prigozhin
Wagner PMC founder, who had the nickname "Putin's cook". After the invasion of Ukraine, he sent his mercenaries to the main directions of the front. And in June 2023, because of the conflict with the Russian Defense Ministry, he organized a rebellion, showing Putin's weakness.
On August 23, 2023, exactly two months later, Prigozhin died in a plane crash in Tver region.
🔹 Boris Nemtsov
Political and statesman, author of reports on corruption and an active critic of the Putin regime.
On the night of February 28, 2015, Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on a bridge in Moscow. It happened a day before he was going to release a report with evidence of the Russian army's involvement in the fighting in Donbas. Five people have been convicted for his murder, but the ordering party "has not been found".
🔹 Alexander Litvinenko
A former Russian FSB officer who left for the UK in 2000 after publicly accusing the leadership of the Russian security services of conspiring to assassinate businessman Boris Berezovsky.
On November 23, 2006, Alexander Litvinenko died after being poisoned with radioactive polonium.
🔹 Anna Politkovskaya
Journalist who investigated human rights abuses committed by the Russian military in Chechnya. She criticized the Kremlin regime and wrote two books – "Putin's Russia" and "Russia Without Putin".
On October 7 (Putin's birthday), 2006, Anna Politkovskaya was shot dead. In 2014, five people were convicted for organizing the murder, the ordering party "has not been found".
