BREAKING: 🇸🇦Saudi Arabia Just SLAMMED Trump’s Big Middle East Dream! & Saudi wants Independent Palestinian state. 🇺🇸Trump : “Every Middle East country MUST join the Abraham Accords as part of the Iran peace deal! It’ll be HISTORIC!” 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia has OFFICIALLY rejected Trump’s demand… 🇸🇦 Saudi: “We REJECT that. No normalization with Israel unless there’s an irreversible pathway to an independent Palestinian state.” 🇸🇦Saudi just reminded everyone: Palestine is still the ultimate red line.

🚨🇸🇦 What lies behind Saudi Arabia’s statement to CNN regarding the Abraham Accords: Riyadh is dismantling the ‘normalisation in exchange for de-escalation’ formula Amid mounting pressure to push for the expansion of the Abraham Accords, CNN quoted a Saudi source as confirming that the Kingdom would only normalise relations with Israel as part of an “irreversible path” towards the establishment of a Palestinian state. The significance of this statement lies not only in its content, but also in its timing and its profound political messages. As I noted in a tweet a few hours ago, it was expected that the Kingdom would issue a clear and decisive response to recent US statements and pressure, particularly following US Senator Lindsey Graham’s remarks and attempts to push for linking regional de-escalation to normalisation. The Saudi response was swift, but delivered in a calm and measured diplomatic manner, via CNN rather than through a direct official statement, sending a clear message: the Saudi position is firm and has not changed. The statement came immediately after repeated US calls and remarks by US President Donald Trump linking regional de-escalation to the expansion of the Abraham Accords, making the Saudi stance appear as a clear redrawing of the boundaries of the political equation in the region. At a time when the region faces the risk of sliding into a wider confrontation, any attempt to link regional de-escalation or understanding to the normalisation issue appears to be a reshuffling of the cards. The war with Iran, regional tensions and the nuclear issue are all separate from the Palestinian cause and the path towards recognising Israel. This is where Saudi Arabia’s role becomes clear; from the outset, the Kingdom, alongside major regional powers such as Pakistan and Turkey, has pushed for de-escalation and to prevent the confrontation from widening, despite Iranian provocations and mounting tensions. It has also continued to support political and diplomatic efforts aimed at bringing viewpoints closer together and preventing the region from sliding into all-out war. The message that is clear today is that Riyadh was not part of the escalation project, but was one of the leading forces working to contain the crisis before it erupted. In contrast, some US proposals appear to be attempting to present the region’s issues as part of a ‘single deal’: an agreement with Iran in exchange for broader Arab normalisation. However, the current Saudi position re-separates the two tracks and emphasises that the Iranian nuclear issue cannot be used as a bridge to impose political arrangements relating to the Palestinian cause. More importantly, the renewal of this stance now, and at this precise moment, sends a clear message regarding the period following any potential agreement: no one should harbour illusions that any détente with Iran will automatically lead to Saudi normalisation with Israel. Riyadh reaffirms that regional détente is one thing, and the Palestinian issue is another, and that no genuine peace can be built on disregarding Palestinian rights or relegating them to a deferred item within larger political deals. 🇸🇦🇵🇸

@abdulslam2017 Who died & made you guarantor of Palestinian rights? Unless, of course, the entire Palestinian identity is simply Arab nationalism & supremacism packaged nicely to bamboozle a naive & ignorant West. In which case Arab nationalist rights can best be assured in the country that ++

Those in the European Parliament who are the first to give lectures on democracy just uncritically applauded a delegation from the UAE that has neither real elections, nor a legislative parliament, and is accused of sponsoring the worst war crimes. Shocking double standards ⤵️
