the Fed model states that when equity valuations deviate too far from bond valuations, eventually something gives, with that something usually being the stock market. The Fed model only works when the stocks/bonds correlation is positive, as was the case from the mid-1960’s through the late 1990’s. When yields rise too much (i.e., the bond P/E falls), it can lead to pressure on equity valuations. That’s what happened in 2022, last Fall, and again the past few weeks.
