Tragically m*rdered on February 2, 2013, at a Texas gun range while trying to help a fellow Veteran struggling with PTSD

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

On Memorial Day, Tulsi Gabbard spent her day at Arlington National Cemetery.
A Gold Star widow had asked if anyone in DC could visit her husband’s grave (SSG Alan W. Shaw, Section 60). Tulsi personally went, paid her respects, and left flowers on behalf of the family.
She wrote on 𝕏: “It was an honor to visit your husband’s grave today on your behalf… Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
Class act. True respect for those who served and sacrificed. 🙏🏽🇺🇸

It is with deep sadness that I share with you the news that Kerry Sheron, a 69-year-old Army veteran, tragically passed away Sunday night after being brutally beaten by his neighbor, all because he loved our country and President Trump. Please send all your love and prayers to Kerry’s wife and family on this difficult day. May God bless his beautiful soul. We thank him for his service to our country. 😔💔
