@DaveHcontrarian @EmmaWilsonwc2sn @joeschmo88888 Do you see this collapse as somewhat similar Russia's decline in the late 90s ? Similar events took place: high inflation, endless crime, corruption, lack of healthcare and social services, no funding for the military, default, etc., or something even worse?

@DaveHcontrarian Mr. Hunter, are you of the belief that when we get to the 2030’s and we pretty much crash and enter depression that Asia will be the place that steps up front and center or do you also see that time period as being global with no safe place to be?

Metals are in big bull markets that have much more to go.The steep sell-off sets them up for another even steeper leg up.I am raising my gold target to $6800 from $5500 & silver to $180 from $125.Also raising my miner targets to the following:GDX $180,GDXJ $250,SIL $220,SILJ $90.

@DaveHcontrarian @ConstantinF15 @ItsPrem If USDCAD drops (20-30%) to nearly 0.90 during the melt-up, it will cancel it out for Canadian investors in US equities. TLT seems like a better option during the decline, when both TLT and USD go up together. Any thoughts about Canadian TSX index? It correlates with S&P closely.

@KonFedo @ConstantinF15 @ItsPrem Wrong. The market peaks before the bust but much of the decline occurs during the bust. The dollar will be rallying during a large portion of the bust. It will be bid up as investors across the globe flee to safety.

@DaveHcontrarian @ConstantinF15 @ItsPrem Thank you, and as I recall the bust comes after the 80% market crash. Then dollar decline then should take place through both the melt-up and the 80% crash.

@DaveHcontrarian @ConstantinF15 @ItsPrem Is this going into the final meltup phase or after the bust when we get a new commodities cycle? Difficult to hold positions in US-denominated assets from Canada if the meltup coincides with a USD bust relative to CAD.

@DaveHcontrarian The 1980 silver peak price is about $180 in today's dollars, inflation-adjuted. So maybe we are just revisiting the 1980 resistance level.

@mark_ungewitter Another way to look at it is with inflation-adjusted chart: the 1980 peak price in today's dollar is about $180. So technically $180 is a resistance level, and our current target. The 2011 peak of $50 is $70 in today's money, and maybe we're just retesting it as a support level.

Yes, silver is parabolic. But let's not sensationalize. 🙄

Today, two of the most respected Dow Jones indices closed at record highs on the same day. Over the past century, that's meant more gains over the next 9 months every time.

@BorisSFL @CapitalCosm You must not come here often. I raised my silver target from $75 to $100 in early October and may have to raise my target again in coming months.
