Perhaps this individual deserves to die. However, innocent people have been put to death via the death penalty. While false imprisonment is still unjust, an innocent can hopefully be exonerated and later freed. You can’t undo a killing. You can later free an innocent person. Thus it should be outlawed so as to protect the innocent. Life in prison to the truly guilty of heinous crimes is the compromise and balance of macro level justice.

I am challenging any death penalty opponent — there are millions of them, allegedly — to step up to the plate right now and explain why this guy should not be executed. His guilt is established beyond any doubt whatsoever. His crime is utterly savage and heinous. Tell us why he doesn’t deserve to die. Go ahead.

@Billionaire_33 @MattWalshBlog Forgiveness of sin does not exempt one of worldly punishment. Had Hitler asked for forgiveness and accepted the Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior prior to death, he’s in heaven right now. Doesn’t mean he didn’t deserve to pay for his sins while here on earth.

@TheBereanPost @MattWalshBlog I think it’s important to distinguish that grace and punishment coexist. While we allow for punishment for the atrocities committed, we grant them the same grace that God does in forgiveness for their sins through salvation.

Here is a good read for those who don't think the death penalty has been racially biased. Humanly speaking, I think he deserves to die like anyone who commits murder intentionally. Whether at war or in time of peace, by any ethnicity. @haliberryg I fully agree with you and I agree that the work on men needs to start and end with men, but I'm not talking about "centering" men's needs, only acknowledging them. One of the ways to help women is for men to help themselves.

This is the problem with acknowledging that men need help: the ridicule is immediate. Men are killing themselves more, dying younger, experiencing an epidemic of loneliness, underperforming in school, and the left wants to ignore it because "patriarchy."
