You have two paths now, blame @ABDanielleSmith for how you feel (even though she's not the judge who quashed the petition) and allow that to turn into anger, a distraction, and allow the momentum to die.
Or, get everyone out to vote Oct 19 and win.

Smith wants the best of both worlds ; if it fails, business as usual, followed by an election. If it passes, she's still a staunch " remain " advocate, but we will eventually get an actual referendum, but only after an election. She has already been given a mandate to start shutting out Ottawa and has done nothing ; let's make sure she doesn't make it to another election.

Note: Quebec held its second independence referendum more than three decades ago, and Alberta is only now at the stage of asking whether it is even allowed to ask the same question Quebec already asked. Twice!

If Danielle Smith announces a separtist referendum for the fall, the feds should immediately halt any further work towards a new pipeline until this question is resolved. It shouldn’t be working with a government that facilitates the potential breakup of this country.

Danielle Smith came back from utter political disgrace and became a popular Premier pushing policies that breed prosperity, in the face of hostility from sanctimonious and socialist federal Canada power. I suspect she knows what she’s doing on this difficult file.

Let’s be clear:
Danielle Smith wants a referendum on separation.

The UCP just used a 400,000-signature pro-Canada petition to justify calling a separation referendum. The people who signed to STAY are now being told their signatures mandated this process.
When I signed, the question was "Do you agree that Alberta should remain within Canada?" — not "do you want a referendum?"
Horner and Jones resigned rather than be part of it. Smith calls this 'respecting democratic participation.' I call it hijacking one side's democratic participation to deliver the other side's agenda.
This government is not acting in good faith. Full stop.
