At the #WorldHealthSummit, I joined partners and civil society leaders to call for an Africa where no child is born with HIV, hepatitis B, or syphilis. Africa has the tools and leadership to end these infections. Through the African Elimination for Vertical Transmission Initiative, @AfricaCDC is working with @_AfricanUnion Member States to strengthen primary health care, laboratories, and community partnerships to make this goal a reality. Don't give up on God

Addressing the issue of missing persons is vital for peace & reconciliation. Unresolved cases can prolong trauma & deepen divisions long after violence ends. Effort must be made to prevent individuals from going missing. Parties in a conflict need to ensure it does not happen.
