PSA - when you vandalize a Jewish Hillel student center with "Free Palestine", you're doing NOTHING to help the cause you claim to support You are, however, contributing to the massive spike in antisemitism we are seeing & and will most likely be arrested & charged w/vandalism

Schools were never closed in order to protect children from covid. Schools were closed in order to protect adults from children. That’s what makes it child abuse.

For 3 weeks now, pro Palestinian radicals have been tormenting Jews inside the D.C. Israel Embassy with ZERO consequences! From grandpa’s throwing up Nazi salutes to lunatics throwing paint on employee cars, why is this allowed to continue @dcmayorsoffice @DCPoliceDept ?!

@CDCgov @HHSGov This is the weirdest activism .. it’s clear by now that this is an autoimmune disorder that is linked to viral illnesses, not just Covid . This promotion is a disservice to sufferers because people are laughing at this as fake/ misleading information. Stop the marketing

When is #LongFLU Awareness Day or #LongMONO Awareness Day? This is so silly. #LongCOVID is a vague and foofy label for symptoms that are no different than those of any other post-viral syndrome.

School failed me, and I failed the school. It bored me. The teachers behaved like Feldwebel (sergeants). I wanted to learn what I wanted to know, but they wanted me to learn for the exam. What I hated most was the competitive system there, and especially sports. Because of this, I wasn't worth anything, and several times they suggested I leave. This was a Catholic School in Munich. I felt that my thirst for knowledge was being strangled by my teachers; grades were their only measurement. How can a teacher understand youth with such a system? . . . from the age of twelve I began to suspect authority and distrust teachers. I learned mostly at home, first from my uncle and then from a student who came to eat with us once a week. He would give me books on physics and astronomy. The more I read, the more puzzled I was by the order of the universe and the disorder of the human mind, by the scientists who didn't agree on the how, the when, or the why of creation. Then one day this student brought me Kant's Critique of Pure Reason. Reading Kant, I began to suspect everything I was taught. I no longer believed in the known God of the Bible, but rather in the mysterious God expressed in nature. - A. Einstein

The majority of Israeli Jews are the descendants of refugees from the Middle East and Africa. My grandmother came to Israel in the early 50s from Iraq, after watching her best friend be raped and a Jewish mother and her 9 children slaughtered by Arabs. She was not alone, almost a million Jewish refugees were forced to leave the Middle East and Africa by Arab and Islamic countries, solely because they were Jews. But all of this does not matter as much as the basic fact that Jews became a people in the land of Israel. This is proven by archaeological, by genealogical, and historical facts. Some Jews lived in Europe for a few hundred years (Ashkenazi Jews), does that make them indigenous to Poland? Of course not, because if that was the case then any white American is indigenous to the USA. That's not how it works. You argue that "only fair-skinned people get sympathy," yet Israelis, who are white in your eyes, had their murders and rapes celebrated by the world. Not to mention how antisemitism is not taken seriously, especially by people like you, yet Jews are supposably white and privileged. But they are not white enough for the Nazis. It doesn't add up. Maybe, just maybe, this isn’t about the race of Jews, but rather about the age old hatred that has never left the world.

🧵A writer's published work should not be yanked from circulation because it sparks public outcry or sharp disagreement. At its best, literature is a bridge, connecting us across differences; writers help guide the rest of us across that bridge. latimes.com/world-nation/s…

Lady Gaga apparently couldn't figure out why people were upset that she platformed a man cosplaying a stereotype of women on International Women's Day, instead of doing virtually anything else to help female causes. It was nicely explained to her.

90% of the soldiers on the first boats to hit the beach in Normandy didn't live to see the end of the day. Look at those faces. Some of them never made it to 18. Never voted. Never loved a woman, or owned a home. They gave their lives fighting Hitler and the Nazis, so today's kids can call everyone they don't like Hitler and Nazis. Think about that. They paid the ultimate price for your freedom. You live your life the way you do because of them. We have the freedom we have today because of those who have gone before us For many of you in the 18-29 group today who yell in the streets taking advantage of your freedom of speech look carefully at this picture again Again many never lived long enough to vote, but died so you could Think of their faces and go to the polls in November You owe them that

WOW -- Jake Sullivan just ripped Hamas and the media, noting they're not talking about how Hamas is the one who's refusing to negotiate on releasing hostages in exchange for a #ceasefirenow: “One of the things that I have found somewhat absent from the [media] coverage is that what we are talking about in the first phase is women, elderly, and wounded civilians. Those who would like to see a ceasefire in Gaza. A ceasefire is on the table today for six weeks to be built on into something more enduring if Hamas would simply release women, wounded, and elderly. And the fact that they will not do so says a lot to me about Hamas’s regard for innocent Palestinian civilians, the fact that they were holding on to those folks and refusing to release them, um and refusing to step up and say that we could get this ceasefire in place, which not only would bring calm to the fighting, but also would create an enormous opportunity to flow humanitarian assistance in in much greater quantities, because a significant part of the problem on the humanitarian assistance front, as you know, has not just been getting trucks into Gaza, but getting trucks around Gaza because it is difficult to move them in light of all of the in light of all of the fighting. Now we've also encouraged Israel to stay at the table. Stay engaged because we believe that there still is scope for this deal to get done.”
