@rchowdhri What Hindu teaching are you giving to your child. It is very important to impart the religious values of our own Sanatan Dharma. He can do Sanatani fasting & Sanatani Mantra Chanting.

My 12yr old breaking his full day fast-no water/food. School project required to follow another religion’s practise for a day. Decided to follow Ramazan fasting. Amazed by his endurance & really liked the project.
