@S_N_SH_E_ Yeah I mean screenshoting it and posting without any opinion of yours on it.

After a very planning based January and a chaotic February, I am back againnnn.
More valuable More consistent
Also today I published my first ever article today on medium, you should give it a read.
Here:

@S_N_SH_E_ The cost of a life of instant gratification is equal exchange of suffering later on.

Graduation day felt like freedom.
Pictures clicked. Smiles everywhere.
Everyone said, “Now life will start.”
A few months later, reality showed up.
No job, no clarity, constant pressure.
Days spent learning, nights spent overthinking.
Friends slowly disappeared into jobs or degrees.
Comparisons became daily routine.
Silence at home felt louder than lectures ever did.
Engineering didn’t end at college.
It followed us home.

@uditkundu19 @S_N_SH_E_ 😅 nah I think this helps my networking attempts

@Kushal_py Funny story, i met an excellent engineer who's worked in the biggest of companies, i showed him my DES (Discrete event Simulation )demo for factory digital twin simulation. He lifted his hands up. ERP/CRM etc s are a joke in application systems. Anyone can build it today
English

@Kushal_py Yep, it's a mix of Claude Code terminal (inside of VS Code) and markdown files (the ones that have the dashes organized into a table). The markdown is really for my benefit.

Day 4 of building a system design for production quality software products with AI development agents.
Yesterday, I had to recover hours of lost work due to not having solid git practices. All the commands and every edge case we had worked through to get it to a working state - wiped clean.
Fortunately Claude Chat and having session handoffs between each chat thread saved the day.
Today, I made it top priority to embed solid git practices into our workflow automatically, so that I don't have to manually track what changes were stored where.
Working through our first actual ticket manually as a test run. So far, so good. 🤞

@S_N_SH_E_ I think there are ecosystems, ecosystem where one language is preferred and ecosystems where another is preferred.
That's why its called IT industry and not a company.
Depends on which ecosystem you wanna go?

@BowTiedCrocodil Quality gets sacrificed for the speed, but sure it has it's own advantages, not like it's totally bad.

@Its_BS @martinmbauer College Degrees if anything might lose all their remaining value. People only go to college for the recruitment companies these days which come there.
English

@Kushal_py @martinmbauer Re: ""AI " do you mean text generation"
Just the text generation, but soon they'll be able to do 3Blue1Brown type tutorials.
Re: "Just like youtube didn't replace teachers AI won't either."
Yes, decent MIT courseware and such...

Anthropic co-founder Jared Kaplan had this to say about the future of physics research. A bold claim that I might not take as seriously if Kaplan wasn’t such a brilliant physicist before he left the field for AI:

@Tynach @premun_ @nickycakes @notch Hey thanks for stating that dystopian reality, you really care about this, and yeah you guys are correct.
Things are going in an inevitable direction aren't they.
English

@Kushal_py @premun_ @nickycakes @notch … them, means you have failed to look objectively at all of the evidence available for whether or not you should use them.

My whole career I've been meeting devs with strong edgy negative opinions about tools they've been using. I always thought they had some innate insight and saw through something.
Today, I'm of the opinion they just couldn't utilize tools to their max including their weak spots.

Reminder that using AI to write code is an incredibly bad idea still, and anyone advocating for it is either incompetent or evil. It's just as dumb as letting AI write the laws. It's about logic, not about typing.
