Beta Technologies are in Ireland this week and at @westonairport today, making history with Ireland's first fully electric flights. I was lucky enough to fly this amazing machine last year and am excited for it to become an everyday thing in general aviation. Electric light aviation has been promised for a long time, and is *finally* starting to happen.

@TerrafugiaInc @VTOLsociety ummmm. @terrafugiainc... what is your baseline? Air travel is 1000 times safer than road... and TO/LNDG/taxi is ~2mi at each end and avg flight is 2.3kmi, it is still safer to lnd/to/taxi in a plane than drive a car :-/ who are you trying to scare?
