My grocery delivery driver seemed upset today because I tipped $35 on my order, and now I’m honestly wondering if I misread the situation 😭 For context, it was a house delivery with no stairs, and the groceries were brought straight to the door. I thought $35 was a pretty fair tip, especially with no apartment building, elevator, or heavy stair situation involved. I know delivery work is not easy. Drivers deal with traffic, parking, shopping delays, heavy bags, and people who barely tip at all, so I do try to be fair. But at the same time, customers are also trying to figure out what is reasonable when delivery fees, service fees, food prices, and tips all stack up. Be honest, was $35 a fair tip for grocery delivery, or should I have tipped more?

No. Home Depot and Lowes used to hire retired tradesmen who had great experience, but couldn’t continue the daily physical grind. They could give you useful advice and wisdom gained from experience. Thanks to the beauty of DEI, they now have a rainbow of sparkling diverse morons with bad attitudes. Lowes is especially useless.

A woman walked into a Home Depot after buying all the materials she needed to build a dining table. She asked an employee if he could show her how to put it together. The employee told her he wasn’t a carpenter and that he could only show her where the wood was located. She felt frustrated because she already had everything and was just hoping for a little guidance. Customer service can be tricky in situations like this. Employees may not be trained builders, but sometimes even a little advice or pointing someone to helpful resources could make the experience much better. Do customers expect too much when they ask store employees for step-by-step help with projects, or should employees be more willing to guide them?

@DrAlmarielao @JakeCan72 It’s not debatable. SCOTUS ruled passengers must positively id themselves on traffic stops or it’s an obstruction charge. Not that difficult to understand.

A police pull over a car for heavily tinted windows. The officer approaches the passenger side and asks the passenger for ID. He refuses he’s not driving, didn’t break any laws, so why should he identify himself? After a tense exchange, officers discover the driver, his uncle has an active warrant. Now, the bigger debate begins. If the driver is wanted, should every passenger automatically have to show ID, even if they committed no violation? Is that reasonable officer safety or creeping overreach? At what point does an investigation cross the line into infringing on individual rights?

After the woman refused to pay for his work as a contractor, she cited she won’t pay because he’s not licensed or insured. The angry contractor starts taking down the work he did since she never paid for the materials either. The woman who is still not satisfied, starts taking all of his power tools inside her house, should he risk it and just call the cops at this point or should he try to take back his property himself?
